based on this I would ask you to wait for some more time given that ISB mails around 5 days before the interview.

Hi Guyz, I finished with my interview (Mumbai) just now. I leveraged on the opportunity to ask the adcom a few questions:
Q. When will the results for R1 interviews be out? A. 15 November 2018
Q. How many times you visit a city? A. 2 times-- once for each round Only exception is Delhi where they visit 3 times
Q. Can I assume that those who haven't received interview invite for Mumbai won't be invited again? A. Partly Yes Only those candidates who haven't submitted their GMAT score in R1 will be considered alongside R2 interviews. So, in a way a person who hasn't received an invite despite having a complete profile uploaded, can think that there are minute chances of an interview call.

Guys, I had my interview with ISB today and it was more like a conversation. They focussed more on profile based questions and why MBA from ISB....
!
Rest of the post is removed. At first I was delighted to see a person with zero posts since joining suddenly got inspired to share his interview experience with fellow applicants but as I read further, I realised it was only a cheap attempt to promote services of an admission consulting company called MBAsage. This discussion is not a place for such advertisements. Keep that in mind and abide by the rules and regulations of forum.
PM me if you have any issues with this action. Narenn

Hey everyone,
I have added ISB to the list of schools for some users(particularly those I knew have applied or those who are already done with the interview) I hope you wont mind that.
Also, it would be great if everyone on the thread updates their list of schools and the current status so that it gets easier for everyone to monitor the school activity on the Decision Tracker.
This will also be helpful for people who will re-apply in the next admission cycle(Although I sincerely hope that no one has to, everyone should get the school of his/her choice.)

Hey guys. I had my interview yesterday at the ISB campus. It was conducted by two alums.
The interview is not a stress interview; more like a conversation taking place where the panellists just want to know whether your story is in sync with what you have written in your application.
I have worked in two entirely different sectors and I was mainly asked about why I had switched my sector. Then the questions that followed were based on both the sectors. 40 percent of the interview was based on my work profile, while the rest of the questions were behavioural questions.
My advice : Be very thorough about your work profile, your post MBA goals and also research on your back up plans for the same.

Got done with my interview at Mumbai on 6th.
Few things that you should know:
1. The people interviewing you do not have your GPA or GMAT scores. It is to give everyone a fair chance at the interview. 2. They have your Resume, essays, recommendations 3. Three people on my panel. One guy from Flipkart, one from Linkedin and the third was in Real Estate. So two people from my Industry ( I have worked only in startups)
Questions that were asked to me: 1. First few questions regarding hobby and other stuff. I guess it was to ease my nervousness as I was very nervous and even stuttering and shaking. 2. How does ISB fit in your goals? Very detailed on that and I was grilled quiet a bit on that. 3. Post MBA goals : Why the specific company/industry? Why not start your business now? (I had an entrepreneurial story for post MBA goals) 4. One question regarding what I wrote in achievements at work. 5. The lack of extra curricular I had on my resume
My assessment of how my interview went: Not good. I was nervous and stuttering the whole time. Although I answered the question about the entrepreneurship pretty well. Even presented them with my idea and how I would build a product for that. Took their questions about the issues they had with the product very well.
Overall assessment: The interview is pretty chill. If you are someone who does not get nervous in interviews and have their story pretty straight, it would be fun and relaxed. Every aspect of your story would be touched and discussed (some more than others)
The ISB guy who was organizing the interview told me that the final results would be out on 31st November.

Are you sure blackfish ? because just yesterday one of the forum mods asked the interview panel for the results of R1, and the panel confirmed the pre-determined date of Nov 15.

Yes, I am sure that is what was said to me. May not be the correct information but that was the information that was given to me.
Though, I hope the date is 15th Nov. The wait is killing me.

For preps, I had given a mock interview with MBAsage, that was conducted by one of the current ISB students coming from the same industry as mine. I felt it was quite helpful in alleviating my concerns and in having an idea of the kind of questions to be expected from the interview panel. The interview went on for about 40 mins and then we had a detailed feedback session on the performance and areas to improve. Moreover, it's cheap compared to other MBA interview consultants out there. Do give it a try.
Wow! this is your first post in the Forum and you chose to write only 1 Sentence about your Interview Experience and 5 sentences on some Prep company. Not Suspicious at All!!
