Have all the ED people heard something yet? or are some still waiting?

I am speculating but i highly doubt they are still sending invites. I think they are in the process on final admit/deny decisions post interviews. there are many people (myself included) who applied basically at the deadline who are already in. I'm assuming if you haven't heard you may be pushed to RD. Best of luck.

Hey everyone, just got the good news. Thought I would share my timeline and background because I relied on this forum for info:

Timeline:

Submitted: 10/02/16 (ED)
Interview Invite: 10/15/16 (Saturday)
Interview: 10/26/16 (Alum's workplace)
Feedback submitted: 10/26/16
Acceptance call: 11/01/16 - I missed the call because I was in a meeting - no VM but it was a blocked number so I had a feeling it was CBS
Acceptance: 11/02/16 - I called admissions and they told me that they had called on 11/01/16, and that I was accepted.

Background:

State university
4 years as a Military Officer
2 years as a manager at a Nonprofit

Seems like they're getting through the ED decisions a lot faster this year than the past two years (looking back through old threads). Wonder when they'll start RD. I'm struggling on whether to start R2 applications before I wait to hear back from CBS.

This wait is agonizing.... I interviewed 3 weeks ago but the report was only submitted 10/25, so still waiting for a decision.

I would strongly advise against this. It will just annoy them -- they are very busy. I posted before that for those who submit around Oct 5 the wait times are likely to be weeks longer than the previous 4-week turnaround. Even if others who applied before you have heard, it is not a reason to check in with them. Perhaps they cannot find an alum in your area just yet or are holding your materials to compare them to others in similar "buckets" that have come through. There are a million reasons you haven't heard, so I would just try to be patient.

Good luck!

Happy to help -- and trust me, I remember going insane myself when I was applying. You are not alone!
