Hmmm thanks I thought so as much....yeah,it's not a formal contract, but rather a verbal agreement to consider me (which would be sure, considering my manager's influence in the firm) for a promotion during the next quarterly review. I think My firm is interested to keep me because we have a couple of big projects coming up in my area of specialty. But I can't take up the promotion. My manager is also my mentor and has been very supportive in every sense till now, so I won't lead him on wrongly. Guess, I'll just have to wait for the feedback... I think in your case, maybe improving GMAT might help? Just speculating though...

Thanks Mridul. I totally agree - that was one of my first go to factor too. But as I think of it, it may be an essential, but may not be a sufficient one on its own. What I am wondering is to get different ideas of what others did to get themselves admitted form WL in the past and what are their experiences. As I mentioned to a friend, no action is not an option! Thanks for the comment though.

Did you guys get an email from Amy Mitson from Tuck? It was more of an FYI email that there has been no movement on the waitlist due to the November round. I guess the demand is higher than the supply this year!

True, but from what I've heard, getting out of waitlist before May is usually a few exceptional cases, so wouldn't look too much into this. Sent from my iPhone using GMAT Club Forum
