Waitlisted.
Yeah, a guidance to how we can manage / improve would be great.

I think in your case, maybe improving GMAT might help? Just speculating though...

Thanks Mridul.
I totally agree - that was one of my first go to factor too.
But as I think of it, it may be an essential, but may not be a sufficient one on its own.

What I am wondering is to get different ideas of what others did to get themselves admitted form WL in the past and what are their experiences.

As I mentioned to a friend, no action is not an option! :)

Thanks for the comment though.

Did you guys get an email from Amy Mitson from Tuck? It was more of an FYI email that there has been no movement on the waitlist due to the November round. I guess the demand is higher than the supply this year!

True, but from what I've heard, getting out of waitlist before May is usually a few exceptional cases, so wouldn't look too much into this.

Hi guys, I'm thinking of getting a Whatsapp group going for WL-ed applicants. If you're interested, drop me a PM with your mobile number and I'll set it up.

Hey All.

A question to those who secured admission somewhere else, in addition to being WListed at Tuck.
Have you made up your mind? Are you planning to go somewhere else?
I understand that past and next a few days are decision flurries, so it may change. But getting that idea of how WL is moving (from applicant perspective - from Tuck, it has been static, except additions with every round), would a good thing.

Second question I want to ask is:
What did you do to improve your chance?

Sorry for late response but after talking to multiple students and admissions people at various universities. One thing that stood out regarding waitlist was
either get a better job offer and contact tuck that you are willing to let go of that exceptional job and extra money
or get a higher gmat score and update them.

It's all about leverage, you are showing willingness persistently. You are also competing with other waitlisted candidates so make sure you stand out as much as possible.

I did.
On Thursday they sent me an email. Obviously, it pointed towards my low GMAT for the pool they are looking at.

Anyone else? Any different suggestions/feedback?
