Hi all!
I m confused between Top 1%, Crackverbal Koramangala and Education aisle Koramangala. I need to write the GMAT exam this year 2020, quite anxious as I m late in starting the preparation. Please suggest so that I can kickstart my preparations.
Thanks in advance ??

Also check our user review for few online and in-person GMAT course providers:-

Check our Marketplace to compare courses and see how you can avail deals:-

Never heard about Education aisle, can vouch for Crack Verbal (cc arun@crackverbal ) based on their success stories.
Early this month I attended Piyush's (cc GMATWhizard ) session in Delhi and really loved how they have incorporated AI into their teaching-learning process.

If you're still confused, talk to any GMAT course provider via this platform and I'm certain they'll be more than happy to provide you free/demo access to their course for seven days. This will help you to take an informed decision. Hope this helps.

Hi Sanya,

Let me provide some inputs from my end to help you strategize your preparation. First of all, I would say that you're not late in starting your preparation if you follow a well-defined study plan that is personalized on basis of your learning style, learning pace and time available to study. The idea should be first create a plan that has clear deadlines for each stage of learning and then regularly assess yourself every week to ensure that you don't have any gaps in your preparation. The sooner you work on your gaps the lesser will be effort required while fine-tuning towards the end.

In fact, these are some of the common problems that most working professionals face. I would recommend spending time on the options you're considering and evaluating them on the following parameters:

    1. Does it offer a Personalized Study Plan that adapts every week on basis of your progress, time available and pace of learning? Don't just settle for static plans that do not adapt as things change as you progress and so should your plan.

    2. The course should have very detailed solutions that follow the same strategy. This is a very important factor because concepts are taught well by most courses but it is the application of concepts that people struggle with. Make sure you look at the study material provided to see the consistency in the approach and not just take a call on basis of a demo session as in most cases the study material speaks a different language.

    3. Check whether there is an option of getting real-time improvement modules at regular intervals. It is fairly common for students to move forward to advanced topics without realizing that they have substantial gaps in their understanding of basic concepts. If you move ahead with gaps, it will hinder your learning moving forward.

    4. Does the course provide you a dedicated mentor who knows the GMAT inside out? Don't just settle for someone who just gives you generic advice. Look for someone who provides a dedicated mentor whom you can contact directly throughout your prep journey.

    5. Lastly, ensure that the course has enough questions that are fresh and GMAT styled. It is important the course also provides you clear analytics on them

I understand that you want to start soon, but I would still say that you should spend time on researching the right options by taking a free trial. Another week spent on research at this stage can actually save you a lot of time and effort later on in your preparation. Add another course to your research list - GMATWhiz. Evaluate it from the perspective of the above pointers along with the other things you're considering.

Unfortunately, another important factor that you should take into account is the current scenario because of Coronavirus outbreak. Choose an option that would minimize disruption for you.

If you would like to discuss your preparation strategy directly with me, you can connect with me on messages. I will be happy to help.

Hi Sanya15,

In addition to advice regarding resources, would you like some general advice on how to improve your GMAT verbal skills?

Personally, I don't think this is the best time to be going to any coaching institution considering the virus situation. That said, I don't think personal coaching is a good idea for GMAT at all. The base concepts/knowledge on which the questions are based is quite clearly covered in the GMAT Official Guide. And no particular coaching centre's strategies will work 100% for everyone for every concept and type of question. So, I suggest going through the OG first and taking a mock test as a baseline before considering spending money on any coaching.

Hello Sanya15,

In this current situation - CrackVerbal is not having any classroom training. However, we have taken the entire experience online. Everything remains the same - the only change is that you will be at the comfort of your home.
I can send you an invite to such a session. You can attend the session and then take a call on whether you are comfortable with it.

Please PM me - I will send you an invite.

regards,
Shree

I did few trial classes and will be joining Education aisle. Best if you can also do trial classes at the above institutes and then decide.

Also I believe all the institutes are offering online classes. I would recommend that in the current environment.
