My test is coming up shortly and I find myself in an odd predicament. My verbal is pretty strong and my math is as weak as it can get. When I gave the test the very first time with just 3 days of prep I hit a V31 and Quant was abysmal to say the least.

My question is what can I do/look at to improve Quant. I struggle particularly with these topics:

1) Probability
2) Combinations
3) Sequences/Series
4) Co-ordinate Geometry
5) Word problems relating to Venn diagrams/Grids.

What sources would you recommend that I look at to specifically target these areas? I've been following Magoosh's video lessons which have helped me with the basics but I'm just not able to think like the questions require you to. Any suggestions/help is welcome.

Thank you :)

Hello

Have you study MGMAT Quant Guides?

If No then first try these guides otherwise TargetTestPrep Strategies for solving Quant questions are simplest in my point of view, frist try it for 1$ it. If you like then get the course, for further details follow this link for TargetTestPrep.

I think the MGMAT guides do a decent job, but I find probability and Combinations inadequate. The following links helped me out( Still working on them)

I can relate to you situation totally. I'm from a non technical background and was weak at quant initially when i started with the prep. Then I enrolled for TTP. This one helped me improve it from Q36-38 to 48. I guess you should give it a try to their 5 days free tiral. I hope it helps you too :)

Hi swatato,
Better if you watch all the tutorials (just solution of all official guide) from https://gmatquantum.com/ which are totally free (i guess).
You may also watch the trial version of TTP (target test prep). Both are awesome, believe me.
Finally, try to follow Bunuel (of course, if you don't follow yet) for every math-he is the ultimate life-saver for your quant part.
