Has anyone gotten any more info for the on-campus stuff? Going to interview within the next week and still haven't gotten anything.

Schedule:
8:15 AM: Morning Class
10:15 AM: Return to Admissions Office
10:30 AM: Information Session and Q&A (Only Mon, Wed, Fri)
11:40 AM: Tour of Harper Center
12:30 PM: Lunch with Students
1:15 PM: Afternoon Class

No... I mean I saw that schedule. But do we just go to any class we want? Eat with random students, etc...

Did you just show up or was there a schedule sent out?

Are all parts of the schedule mandatory or can you pick and choose? I thought it was either a morning or afternoon class.

I wasn't sure, but I was under the impression we'd be getting additional information if we signed up for the campus visit program. Has anyone done the campus visit program yet (signing up through the interview scheduler) that can report how the process works?

You’ll receive the detailed scheduled a day or two before as part of the “reminder” email. The schedule is exactly what was mentioned in a previous post here. You’ll have the option to choose morning or afternoon class once you arrive on campus.

Hello guys, I had my on-campus interview yesterday. After that I sent my interviewer a thank-you letter but he didn't respond. Is it a bad sign? Did your interviewers reply your thank-you letters? Thanks.

Many a times they don’t. It’s not at all reflective of your performance in the interview.

Just finished my interview on campus. FWIW, this is what I learned about the class visit:
you check in ~8 am, and the class starts @ 815. When you check in there is a piece of paper you can put your name on for the classes.
Since the interview is in adm office, there is a possibility they give feedback right after the interview thus the thank you letter and their response to the letter, if any, may have no effect on the result. Either way, no reason not to send the letter especially the interviewer will be your alum when and if you get in.

If it was adcom, they often don't work on weekends so they may take their time responding.... academia ;-)

That won't happen with Booth.

Just following up here with what I hope is helpful information: On-campus interviewers are highly encouraged (read: it's a major part of their training) to submit feedback immediately following the interview. Unless you're incredibly quick on the draw, it is unlikely that your email will be read prior to the feedback being submitted. Also, I agree that receiving (or not receiving) a response to a thank-you email is not dispositive.

Hi everyone - when you click on your submitted additional short essay, does it show up? Mine doesn’t even though I have submitted it by the deadline. I am wondering if somehow it didn’t go through

There should be a checkmark next to it if you submitted it successfully.

Word of advice: if any of you plan on visiting a class and you have the chance to attend Anuj Shah’s Negotiations class, do it! It’s another level!

I wonder which is more frustrating...waiting for Interview invite or final results. Fingers crossed for everyone who has interviewed.

For a school like Booth the interview is a shorter wait. But to be honest the interview is definitely a validation.

I’d get heartbroken if I was rejected without one. This way at least I can say I was qualified to get into the class but probably just a bad interview or so. Not sure if that makes sense.

But that said, one more month seems excruciating.
