Hi folks! Hope that the decision making for R1 admits, the waiting game for R2 applicants, and the school research for those targeting R3 is going great!
Here's a piece of news that I think all of you will find useful. I recently had a chat with Meredith Hartmann, Associate Director, Full-Time Admissions about the all-important topic of STEM certification. She confirmed that STEM certification is coming this year and will definitely be applicable for the Class of 2022. To quote her verbatim,
"We are simply awaiting the green light to make the official announcement. Right now The Dean's Office is working with faculty to finalize the academic requirements and eligible courses for a STEM track. We expect to stand up a STEM track within the Full-time MBA program for the Fall 2020 entering class."Pending further clarity, it is reasonable to assume that this will be a track-based STEM vs a blanket STEM for the entire MBA program (the like of Berkeley Haas).
Will keep everyone posted if I receive any further updates!
