Well it's close to 5pm Eastern and I believe last year had a couple invites at 5:37pm the day it happened, but, my wager is we're done for the week.

I have to tell you though, when I woke up and saw no new emails from the school but like 15 new messages on this forum I feared the worst haha. Don't do that to me guys.

I just received an email from Ross admissions saying the below:

This communication is to confirm that your application for the Full-time MBA program, Fall 2018 admit term is now complete. You should expect a decision by the posted decision notification date found on our website for the Full-time MBA program.

I had received an email requesting TOEFL scores a couple of days back. I had reiterated that I was exempted based on my UG medium of lang and was confirmed that it was just a confusion due to a check box that I had missed. The admissions office also confirmed that this confusion would not affect my application for Round 1.

But then this email now saying that the application is just complete and that I should expect a decision by the decision date. Does that mean 'no interview'?

All these emails seem to be coming at night somehow. Hopefully its just an automated email that means less. Anyone else got something like this?

I just received an email from Ross admissions saying the below:

Last Wednesday the team requested me to share my unofficial gmat score report (no clue why they need a report for evaluation). I sent it immediately and followed up the next day via a phone call on which they confirmed my application is complete and has been sent to the reviewers. A couple of days later I received the same mail that you have received - which I think is an auto generated email and, in my case, hit the inbox 2 days late.

My take is that there is not much we can infer from these communications and updates. Have to wait for the d day. :)

Probably our apps are being initially filtered / vetted by the sub committees and errors are being caught, with those missing info being asked to submit. So yeah, shows we won't get anything until the very last minute.

I also didn't receive the same. May be they want to send it only to those whom they want to call or may be its a random process or may be it depends on the person validating the documents. There are lots of maybe. :-D

You say last minute but at least Ross gives a general idea of when it will all be done. Most other schools I've seen are way way more vague. Haas for example is very aloof about the process and even says they send some interview invites "up to the decision deadline". Which is an incredibly painful wait that allows for over-thinking and over-analysis of those random emails they send throughout the process (everyone here knows what I'm talking about).

Not disagreeing with what you said at all, just using this opportunity to vent haha.

Okay I never received an application complete email. I submitted my app early September. I received two emails.

1. Thank you for submitting your app.
2. We have received your app. We will review for completeness and we will get back if we need anything else.

What does the application complete email say?
