Just curious about this - the issue of sending transcripts to Rotman. Do I need to have my University mail the physical copies or can I do it too? The website isn't honestly clear about this.

I collected my transcripts physically from my University and then express couriered it to Rotman myself. As long as the transcripts are in a university envelope with a stamp/seal of your university it shouldn't be a problem.

PS: Some couriers (DHL in my case) offer student discounts if you are sending any couriers to a university. Worth a shot to ask in your country?

Cheers!

Hi, I was planning to go ahead with the video interviews. Wanted to know if I can check in and practice for sometime, and then give the video interviews on some other day?
Thanks in advance :)

Hi

Had that same question when prepping for the video interviews but i found the response on the FAQ for "KIRA Talent" (The portal used by Rotman for recording the interviews) which should answer your question.

"Q: How many times can I do my practice questions?

A: You can complete your practice questions as many times as you’d like! You can even leave the page and come back at a later time. Your reviewer will never know how many times you completed the practice questions, so feel free to practice twice, or 20 times!

Just make sure you complete your actual assessment before the deadline your organization has set for you."

Cheers and Best of Luck!

Hello All,

I found this information here (https://www.rotman.utoronto.ca/Degrees/M ... nDeadlines)

You do not have to write the GMAT or GRE before you begin the application process. GMAT or GRE scores, transcripts and letters of reference may be submitted after the deadline, following submission of the application.

Just wanted to confirm that we can submit our GMAT score after deadlines?

Can someone help me with more info on this.

Regards

A quick question about Round 2 versus Round 3.

There is a very good chance a recommender may not be able to fill in all the details by 8th Jan. So I would have to push my application to Round 3. Just how would my chances to get in be affected on account of this? I am an international applicant. Curious to know more on this.

Per their website, you can apply in between rounds if cannot meet the specific deadline. In which case, you won't need to wait until round 3 because of recommender.

Also, it's probably best to check wih admissions to see if you can submit on the 8th and recommender can submit afterward.

Just apply, ask your recommenders to rush. if they cant , talk to admissions and let them know to expect recommendation shortly after. Not a biggie

It should be a professional ID. I think they'd accept personal IDs only in exceptional cases (If someone has retired perhaps)

On Rotman's application, the essay question asks:
Please describe why you are pursuing an MBA? Why Rotman? Why now? (500 words)

But on Rotman's website, the essay question is:
Essay Question: When you reflect 10 years from now, how will you measure your MBA experience? (500 words)

Which one is it??!?

Where did you find this on the website and what year is posted above the question? The question that you have referenced is from previous applications. Answer what is on the application. And get it done!

Good luck!

The first one is this year's essay question.
The second one, I think, is for the previous year.
