Originally applied with GMAT under 700, then raised to lower/mid 700's (just a few weeks ago). Not sure if that is what did it, or it was just a coincidence that they called me right after. [#permalink]

The higher GMAT would have definitely helped. Thanks for sharing and all the best for Tepper!

Guys need a suggestion. Do you think it will be worth trying asking Tepper to bump up scholarship (I got a small scholarship) if I tell them that I have an offer from INSEAD ? I am an international student.

Yes! There is no harm in asking

And do it soon so that you have better chances of increasing scholarship. Although INSEAD is a great school as well - so do talk to as many students as you can before making a choice :)

Thanks for the advice. I have interviewed at LBS and waiting for 25th to hear about the decision. I was wondering if I should approach Tepper once I have LBS decision in hand as well.

If I have the good fortune of getting an admit at LBS as well, it will increase my chances of getting a bump ?

Tepper does ask for scholarship letters/admits from other schools that you’re considering so yes, I would say they do consider it. Also, they take about 2 weeks to respond back with their final decision on the scholarship reconsideration. So depending upon whether you have the time before any deposit deadlines, you can take a call.

Guys have you deposited the 2nd amount of $1k ? Is it normal for schools to ask for multiple deposits ?

Tepper seems to be very aggressive

Hello Everyone,
Hope you all are doing fine. I am an incoming student at IESE for MBA 2023.

To help raise funds for the fight against COVID in India I have created a platform (https://mentoroni.com), where people like you(recent admits) can volunteer and provide MBA consulting services (GMAT/GRE strategy, School-specific insights) to MBA aspirants, in return of donation to COVID relief NGOs in India.

I would like to welcome you all to become a mentor on the platform (https://www.mentoroni.com/become-a-mentor). The platform gives you complete flexibility in sharing your availability, syncing your calendar, and hence managing your own time.

Reach out to me have any further questions or if you are already doing something similar, standalone our platform is designed to make your life easier and to maximise your network’s impact .

Help India Fight Covid!

I guess so. I don’t think they will give an admission without an interview :)
