One other question, how was recruiting for you and your classmates? Did most people get the jobs they wanted! There’s some poor reviews on here that I don’t know if I believe.
I am not sure on how you need to word your letter but it never hurts to ask.
Recruiting is very much dependent on the individual. I would not say that all of the people got the jobs they wanted but when I talk to my friends right now, they are all happy in what they are doing.
I dont know about the rumors but I will tell that there is a lot of focus on the recruitment in first year and not so much in the second.
I think MBA as a program is very front loaded. I remember
bb wrote a great post about it a few years back. So once you are in the B-School, put in all you got in the first 6 months and you will find yoursrelf in a comfortable place.
For specifics, all the companies come to campus and have regular office hours with alums from those companies.
There are plenty of people who go to consulting in MBB and Deloitte with most number going to McK and Deloitte.
Tech people go to Dell, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, IBM, NetApp to name a few.
Investment Banking has a long list.
But having said that, there are limited options for internationals as many companies do not sponsor. But that would be across the B-Schools.
