Somehow I did not deserve kudo :)

1) Maybe I'm too tired to find any problem with my explanation. in this case receive my apologies;
2) Maybe Bunuel mechanically skipped it;

Here is the question link

M also facing a similar scenario.

#Do we need to type the explanation? Can explanation pics attached not serve the purpose.?

Because two of my post wherein my answer and explanation was correct and too on first page of the post went unnoticed.

As we were training our quant skills on Bunuel's daily questions in the near past, I know you are good, I confirm my respect noble "foe" :) and I'm glad to see you in top 3 of your team.

The difference is so small and correct explanations value so much that I can say our teams are at the same level.
Hope Westeros and Walkers will stretch up to give a fierce fight for the throne.

LevanKhukhunashvili ; haha ; :-D .. well its just been first phase of the battle .. 3 more phases of the 'war' are left :) nothing can be said as of now about the Westeros and Walkers ; will be looking forward for an epic battle .. :)

Congratulation Wildings for a stellar performance!

Congratulations LevanKhukhunashvili Mahmoudfawzy83 and Kinshook for securing the top three positions in Team Wildings. Congratulations mira93 Archit3110 MayankSingh shridhar786 rahaman26 cristianosubo hiranmay chondro48 05divya for securing the top three positions in the runner up teams.

Dothraki needs to put in more efforts in order to reclaim the first position. I am surprised that some of the top scorers in this team routinely post lackluster explanations. Most of their explanations appear as though these individuals are solving the questions on a scratchpad; a simple shorthand one-liner solution will not fetch you points.

White Walkers & Westerosis - You can still bounce back and claim the top slot. Please participate more aggressively. We still have 3 weeks to go!

Hi, I see that there is a healthy participation in the GOT competition. However, I would like to urge bb and all other forum moderators to make a policy to post Official Explanations to the questions after some time. We can decide 72 hrs or 96 hrs or any other time frame to do this irrespective of the number of posts that question gets.
I believe the whole objective of this game is to give gmatclubbers a healthy dose of learning with some fun and excitement. In the absence of official explanation, there is sometimes confusion about the correct answer choice since as per current trend most of the explanations are posted by less mortals ( :idontknow:) and some gmatclubbers may have doubts about the same.

Thank you for the suggestion. My guess is you are referring to the verbal questions since quant is usually pretty clear cut. For verbal questions we have OA’s for many questions but not all since they were written for this promo.

We will ask the question owners to see if they could submit OA’s to make sure everything is clear.

Thank you for bringing this up
BB.

Even the quant could benefit.

Each person has their own method for solving and sometimes those methods aren't articulated clearly enough or in a manner by which others can understand. That's why "expert" replies would really help.

After a week in....Amazing initiative and good quality questions. Can't imagine the amount of work done by the moderators bb Bunuel ......reading through all the reply's and awarding Kudos (average 80 posts per question - 22 questions - 1760 posts - that's just the one week).

Repeating Bombsante and Dcummins thoughts- It would be helpful if you can post official explanations for the questions (both quant and verbal)

I think the leading team is not revealing any sign of fear :)))
We were not dishearted when most predicted "Red's" easy win
We stood as one when we were running up
We are not relaxed even though we lead.

We are Wildlings, we are freemen

Hi bb,

i can see dothraki colour to you also,. having BB in our team, we are coming second,

come on wake up Dothrakis,

Thanks for creating this creative , timely ( at the end of season 8) competition.

really it motivates my kind of personality to sit and solve many questions and revise. thanks really thanks for creating something like this. I joined this competition on 3rd day( july 3rd , yeah accidentally saw this competition only on that day). since then i am studying more hours per day.

All the best in the path to create best education forum in the whole World. As daenerys says, dont stop with just six kingdoms. All the best to rule the world , by setting example to how a education forum has to be.

I envy you to an extent.

thanks
cheryn
