I was searching for free GMAT test questions and CATs when I stumbled upon GMAT Club. Seems to have free registration which would allow you to take some tests from manhattan, exampal, etc for free. This seems too good to be true, what's the catch? Is it really free or is it just a free trial which will expire in a month? I swear I'm not paid to advertise by GMA Club I just want to know whether it's legit.

I know this doesn't directly answer your question, but I'm replying because I want you to buy tests even if you get free tests through GMAT club. If you are serious about the GMAT, it's definitely worth buying a set of mock tests from at least 2 different competing prep companies. The free trial tests usually have a smaller pool of questions and retaking them won't really help you properly analyse if you are getting better or not. I've used Manhattan, Veritas, Kaplan, and official GMAT mock tests. Each have their pros and cons. The official GMAT mocks were the closest to the real exam, at least for me. Kaplan and Veritas were consistent in scoring but not extremely difficult. The Manhattan ones were a little more challenging but less consistent (I got 650 - 750 in different Manhattan tests within the same week).

Yes it is legit. Gmatclub forum has tons of past official exam questions too. In addition, aome course providers offer free trial for newbie so why not try them?

You might want to double-check whether some of the stuff you are looking at doesn't require gmatclub points.

Free tests of Manhattan and other test preps are accessible from their own websites also, so yes they are legit.
GMATCLUB subscription has no expiry, but if you want to buy the tests of GMATCLUB or other test prep companies, you have an option to buy with $$ or points from GMATCLUB.

Happy learning!

The heading of this thread should be changed a bit something like ''Is GMAT Club test legit''? People are probably confused when they see the title like ''s GMAT Club legit''?
