The new design is good, but it would be more than good if members (I am talking about every member not just moderator, experts) can add at least 1 external link (related to GMAT) in their signature! If you do that member will get curiosity to write more in the forum.

Thank you. We have updated the signature policies a year ago I think or quite a while so this is not related to the design. The reason was that we had lots of people putting their company and other links. Very few members put valid links but I am curious what link you would add? Happy to consider it.

I personally don't like the new UI as much. While I love the new features, such as being able to see the history, I think it's missing some of the features that makes the old version preferable.

The first thing is that this new feature really reduces the size of the problem (I am unable to add attachments so I hope just explaining it makes sense). This change makes solving problems less enjoyable. The problem is overburdened by the announcements page but if that tab is reduced then the problem stretches to fill the whole page-- essentially it becomes a long blurb of text that runs along most of the screen which is not visually pleasing.
The previous version seemed to fit our workstation in the center of the page since the user who uploaded the question was on the left side while GMAT news was on the right, making the margins of the page consistent. It also appeared that the text had to fit into certain constraints for the page, which gave a more universal and better look. Having the reduced size text constraints made the problems layout (even if lengthy) easier to read and is overall more enjoyable visually.

Another thing is that some features are just much bigger than need be. I think some of this really takes away from the structure that the site had before. While the larger announcements tab is nice to see what's new, it shouldn't be larger than the problem itself. It makes it distracting trying to solve while seeing all the recent Youtube thumbnails, but reducing the tab doesn't work since then the layout of the problem is even worse (see above text). And the kudos and bookmark feature appearing larger in text than the problem itself adds to the distraction.

However, I want to applaud Bunuel and the rest of the team for creating this new layout and all the effort they've gone through. I hope my review is taken as constructive criticism only, as I am very thankful for all the work that goes into this site. But I would love for this new layout to employ the same text layout as the previous one did just since it made solving problems much more visually appealing and enjoyable.
Thanks GMAT Club :)

I am talking about ANY link that is related to GMAT study (website, youtube link). If the question is directly to me, then it is just ''Thursdays with Ron'' study videos link.
The internal link could be numerous but external link could be at least for one.

Thank you for your feedback!

We’ll see what we can do with the buttons and other features to make them less intrusive.

Thank you so much for feedback!
I’m not used to constructive criticism, usually just people complaining so this is very refreshing 🫠

I attempted RCs through ForumQuiz in the new UI/design. When i tried to review RCs in a new tab, it seems i have never attempted it before. There was no timer attempt what i could easily see in earlier UI design.

Hi. Thank you. You need to click show history. You need to click it only once and it remembers that setting to show you history of attempts.

Hi bb , Bunuel

I like the new design - makes the UI more interactive (The embedded History option is my fav). I believe it'll take some time to acclimatise with the new UI but it'll be fun.

I have been thinking about Forum Quizzes on the Error Log and this might not be the right place to dump this info.

Can we have an option to Rename a custom Forum Quiz? For eg. I am practicing 11 Qs on Algebra and once I've completed the quiz, I'd like to rename that Quiz as "11Q-ALG-15Oct" (or anything like this). I understand we can see the number of questions in the folder icon, the date has its separate column and topic (ALG) can be filtered. But if given the option to Rename a particular Forum Quiz entry would help organise the quizzes verbally.

Hi! I like the new UI.
However, since its roll-out, I have noticed that the forum discussions are not getting displayed while looking at the GMAT Club Test answer results. I am not sure if it is related or just a coincidence. Could you please check the same from your end?

Thank you for your efforts and help.

I can’t attempt w/o turning on the timer. Answer options are not visible w/o the timer.
As someone who almost never uses timer. I think in hard options I will be forced to pause the timer and it may give unreliable data ?

Unless it’s deliberately done for some reason or I am missing something.

Love that I can see attempt history but also don't the fact that I can't see the options ABCDE until I start the timer. Why would you do that?
