There are no right or wrong answers. Be authentic and tell us what we won’t learn about you in the rest of your application. Imagine that you meet up with a member of the admission committee at an airport while on a layover. You have an opportunity to make a memorable impression. Use this essay to introduce yourself. Include any information that you believe is important for the committee member to know about you, both professionally and personally. Only one essay is required. Requirements: 300-350 words maximum, 12-point font, double-spaced OPTIONAL ESSAY There also is an optional essay for additional information about your candidacy that you may wish to share with the admissions committee. Use this essay to convey important information that you may not have otherwise been able to convey. This may include unexplained resume gaps, context for recommender selection, etc. If you are a re-applicant, explain how your candidacy has strengthened since your last application. Hi, I am from Delhi and I have received an invite. One of my friends in Delhi have received an invite too.

When did you receive the application complete mail?

Anyone who received an "application complete mail" around 14th october, still waiting for an invite? I hope I'm not the only one.

You're not alone! I went back and checked last year's forum and it seems that when this happens has no bearing on when or if you are invited.

I'm waiting too. Got the 'app complete' email on 17th.

I got app incomplete email on 7th Oct. I was not sure what to upload. I uploaded my resume again and then it was moved to complete and sent for review. (I didn't receive any complete email though. )

I guess the app incomplete thing might have slowed our processing, and maybe their is a second wave of invites still left. Only the initial invites have been sent out. Fingers crossed.

Like most MBA programs besides Ross, HBS, Wharton, etc who all release on a specific date, CMU sends invites all the way through out the round....its not really "waves" its just based on when they read your app and there is definitely more than one "wave" because of this....you can read last year's forum to see what is normal for CMU interivew invites.

Hi, did you guys submit the fellowship essays today? any news regarding that?
