bebs: Do you know how the process of releasing final decisions works? Are they released on rolling basis as you complete interviews or all decisions at once on or prior to decision deadline?

Got in with some scholarship.

Also, guys who are yet to received a call, don't worry they will continue giving out calls till thanksgiving and every admitted candidate will receive an e-mail by the deadline.

Narenn Decisions are released close to the decision date. Decision date for R1 is December 6, so I guess they are still following the normal tradition of releasing results within two weeks to the decision date

Hi Guys! I'm delighted to inform that I got my acceptance call yesterday This is my 1st admit and with $$ :) .
All the very best to others who are looking forward for Rice acceptance.

They are calling to as many as possible before thanksgiving and will send the mail communication after thanksgiving to all those who are accepted.
So those who are not getting calls, do not loose hope, wait for the actual result date, i.e. 6th Dec.

Yup.. we are observing the same pattern this year.

Nope, as per what they told is that they are informing as many as possible via call before Thanksgiving. The final official communication/mail will be sent to everyone by 6th Dec.
