All Round 2 applicants will receive either an interview invitation or final decision by the end of day Thursday, February 27, 2020.

when are the MIT round 2 interviews typically held? 2-3 weeks after invite; or much before?

I am not sure about R2, however, for R1 they mentioned that they were aiming to have at least a week between notification and the interview. The latest interviews were held around 5-6 weeks after the initial interview invitation as far as I know.

The 'Your MIT Sloan Application is Complete' email mentioned that the 'interview invitations will be sent on Thursday, February 21 and Thursday, February 27, 2020'. Since Thursday is actually Feb 20, what do we make of this? Is the first wave coming on Thursday (Feb 20) or Friday (Feb 21)?

Interesting. I thought that since Thursday is the common theme in both, that maybe we should stick to that. How did it happen in R1? Were there multiple waves too?
