Hi everyone,
I completed two GMAT tests.
#1 4 weeks ago: 620, Q47 (61%), V29 (56%), IR 3 - Cancelled Score
#2 some days ago: 640: Q42 (43%), V35 (76%), IR 7
I cancelled the first GMAT back then, should I reinstate the score to improve my chances (due to higher Quant score?). My remaining profile is strong and I have an IT background - as such even more surprising quant results. What would you recommend when applying to INSEAD?
Best Regards
Patrick
Hey Patrick, I believe that you can check the average GMAT score for people from your country's pool. Then I think you have a significantly higher score in verbal, quant is fine as long as your background covers that up. A V29 is much less than a V35, keep the current scores, you have a good IR score in that too, but if your score is still less, retake the GMAT, there is no harm in it. Harvard was asked how many is too many, they said 5-6
So I think taking another attempt, that can get you in the 650+ range might just help.
I f my posts were helpful, please don't hesitate to hit the like button as a gratitude
Where do you actually see the average GMAT for your country? Can you advise? Never have heard of that before.
Can't actually retake as I have to submit my application for INSEAD today. Only thing I did was explain why I had such a bad grade and showing comittment to retake GMAT before MBA would start in January.
