The square of any number is positive, multiplied by a negative number will yield a negative number.
Since x = 3, the expression is \(3^3\)

The value of the expression — \(3x^2\) is -27(Option A)

Substituting the value of x in the given equation.

\(x^2\) = \(-3^2\) = 9.

-3*9 = -27

A is the answer.

If we square any positive or negative value then we can get definite positive value. And we get a negative value if we multiply that positive value by any negative value(-3).So, C,D,E out.
For choice B:
If we squared any odd number we get odd number, and then multiplied that number by any odd number we can easily get a odd number, which is A not B.
