I still think Wharton will be top....I'm more interested in the schools outside the M7....Olin will see a major boost in their rankings after being named Poets and Quants' MBA program of the year...hoping they do...I agree with fatmike's choices of the M7

It will be an interesting test  though I feel it will be muted. Last year Olin ranked 26 and their 5-year average is 22. If anything they have been sliding and getting back up would be correcting....

Wow. I interesting prediction anak93 - thanks for posting. I am guessing with Corona uncertainty around the historical rankings will prevail the newer ones but maybe that’s always the case - we have trouble with change... I do at least.

No, that wasn't a prediction. The actual rankings have been published early, it appears: https://www.usnews.com/best-graduate-sc ... a-rankings

I guess U.S. News didn’t get the memo about no ties? And worse, they added to the cross town rivalry in Illinois! Ugh.

I got 1 out of 3 right... :| :shocked :-o :x

bb
US News Rankings are coming out in a few weeks, right around the time for the R2 decisions... While we are waiting how about we play a fun little game - let's make our predictions and see how far off we are? :-)

I am happy to embarrass myself first :blushing I am going to go out on a limb and say that

  1. USC Marshall will dip in rankings this year. They have been without a permanent dean for 8 months and I feel that will have an impact on the overall program and their ability to execute, so I feel Marshall will be around 23rd spot or maybe as low as 25th (back out of the top 20)

  2. Which program do you think will be #1? I think it will still be Wharton.

  3. I am also predicting that Yale will be #8 :dazed

Anyone else? :shocked

Johnson is currently considered the last school in the T15. (HBS, GSB, Wharton, Booth, Sloan, Kellogg, CBS, Haas, SOM, Tuck, Ross, Darden, Fuqua, Stern, Johnson). UCLA is considered Cornell with better weather. Tepper would then come 17th or better. USC has also been making a huge upward push as of recent as well and is gunning to be peers with UCLA and McCombs is arguably weaker but being the in-state school and the best school of Texas creates a huge amount of OCR opportunities for its students. Not saying things can't change, but hopefully this is good perspective.

Hey bb, want to take a stab again at this? after the 3 way tie last year between Tuck, Duke and Ross who do you think makes our top 10 this year? Anyone from 12 to top 10?
