Thank you so much, Becca

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I’m so grateful to Becca for her support throughout my MBA application journey. Coming into the process, I didn’t have a network of friends or colleagues who had gone through MBA applications before, and I was coming from a relatively non-traditional background - so it initially all felt quite overwhelming and difficult to navigate.
Becca helped me bring my story to life in a way that felt both authentic and compelling. Just as importantly, she gave me the structure and clarity I needed to map out my career vision and connect the dots across my experiences in a way that finally made sense.
She struck an incredible balance between being supportive and challenging - pushing me to think more deeply, refine my ideas, and communicate them with confidence. I always felt that she genuinely cared about my journey and outcome.
Thanks to her guidance, I ultimately received offers from several dream schools - which felt almost unfathomable when I started this process - including HBS. I’m incredibly grateful for her role in helping me get there.
I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone navigating the MBA admissions process, particularly those coming from non-traditional backgrounds.

9 Admits out of 10, Including Two M7s. Silpa Made It Happen.

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I came into this process as a non-traditional candidate with a background that didn't fit the typical MBA mold. My biggest challenge wasn't my experience, it was my confidence and knowing how to tell my own story in a way that would resonate with top programs. Working with Silpa changed that completely.
Silpa guided me through every step of applying to 10 schools, and I received offers from 9 of them: Columbia, Chicago Booth, Darden, Fuqua, Haas, Cornell Johnson, Ross, Tuck, and Yale SOM. Across those admits, I received substantial scholarship offers, including a full ride. Those results speak for themselves, but what I want to highlight is how she got me there. From the very beginning, she took the time to understand my background at a granular level, drawing out themes and strengths I genuinely could not see in myself. She helped me craft each piece of my application with care and intentionality, making sure my voice came through in every essay, recommendation brief, and personal statement.
What I appreciated most was how available and present she was throughout the entire process. I had so many questions, so much anxiety, and so many moments of self-doubt, and Silpa was there for all of it. She was warm, patient, and endlessly encouraging without ever being unrealistic. She fielded my questions no matter how small, turned around feedback quickly, and always made me feel like my success genuinely mattered to her.
For anyone coming from a non-traditional background who isn't sure their story is compelling enough, Silpa is exactly who you need. She will find the gold in your narrative and help you present it with confidence. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

10/10 Recommendation for Heidi Hillis

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

The comprehensive school package was truly a white glove service that gave me a clear roadmap for every part of the application.

Would make the product better:

Nothing, Heidi was incredible from start to finish.

Heidi was a game changer for my applications. I walked into this process unsure of what I wanted to pursue, what schools I was targeting, and questioned if I was “good enough” to apply to the top programs. Right away, Heidi eased my anxiety by breaking down the application process into manageable, bite-size components and creating a step-by-step strategy for how we would tackle every part of my application from start to finish. Additionally, Heidi’s level of professionalism and responsiveness to my messages was exceptional. What I valued most about working with Heidi was her introspective approach. She helped me gain real clarity on my career vision by starting with my core values, what genuinely drives me, and connecting that to the “why” behind my decisions (both professional and personal) and future goals. That foundation made my entire application feel both compelling and cohesive. It created a clear, consistent narrative thread that tied everything together, making it easy for admissions teams to understand not just what I’ve accomplished, but why I’m pursuing an MBA and where I want to go next.

I chose the 3 school package and Heidi was there for every step of the process from advising me on where to improve my GRE score to helping me identify the right recommenders and negotiating my scholarship offers. Not only did Heidi help me achieve acceptances to Columbia, MIT, Kellogg, and Booth (all with significant scholarships), but she helped me become more confident and empowered me to believe I can achieve something that seemed impossible.

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

- very timely feedback
- always available to chat
- realistic but positive outlook on application

Would make the product better:

- support for scholarship essays

Silpa is a one of a kind consultant. I would not have expected a year ago that I would get into all the schools that I applied to, and that with scholarship packages. My acceptances are in large parts of the support that I received from Silpa. Her strong understanding of the AdCom and what they look for in candidates is clear. Every essay was thoroughly reviewed several times and resume was fine tuned until it truly communicated my experience in a method that would speak to business schools. She provided clear feedback on each application item and worked with me over meetings to revise them to ensure success. Most importantly, Silpa is a consulstant who truly cares for each of her clients. She sees the best in each applicant, encouraging them to think big, while also being realistic about how to improve their chances of acceptances. If you want to ensure a competitive application to business school, Silpa is the consultant you should be working with.

I worked with Emma throughout my entire MBA application process, and I must say it was a true blessing that our paths crossed.

Emma was an essential part of my application journey. She was always honest about my chances with each school, giving me the freedom to decide whether to proceed with an application or not. Since I was unfamiliar with the process, I followed Emma’s advice—and the outcome was exceptional. Almost every school I applied to accepted me.

Emma contributed immensely throughout the journey. She provided invaluable support in preparing my application, taking the time to truly understand who I am, my background, and my aspirations. You can genuinely feel that Emma goes the extra mile to find that special something that helps admissions committees see why you are a perfect fit for their MBA program.

Beyond grades, test scores, and background, Emma was instrumental in helping me structure my story—my background and my goals for pursuing an MBA.
Emma was also there during moments of doubt or when I felt less optimistic about my chances. As the application process moved forward, I realized that everything Emma said and advised was coming true, which gave me confidence.

I cannot thank Emma enough for helping me achieve this long-term goal of earning an MBA. She not only assisted in structuring my goals and background but also helped me gain confidence that extends far beyond the MBA application process.

Heidi has been absolutely great!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Strengths:

The fact that your coach (in my case, Heidi), is there with you every step of the way to make sure everything is correct is absolutely great.

Would make the product better:

Nothing comes to mind

From early in the process, Heidi knew exactly when to advise me to focus on other initiatives (like the GMAT) and when to push harder on applications. She struck a perfect balance between encouraging me to dig deeper to find the answers within myself and taking a more proactive approach to help craft my story. I applied to MIT, NYU, Stanford, and Kellogg, and was admitted to all but MIT (where I applied in Round 2 as an international student—something they generally recommend against). I am certain I wouldn't have achieved these results without Heidi’s guidance. Highly recommend!

I recommend Sharon 1000000000000% !!!!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

The hourly consulting format worked really well for me because of the flexibility it offered. I was able to focus on exactly what I needed at each stage of the process, which made every session feel efficient and high impact. Even in a limited amount of time, I still benefited from Fortuna’s deep admissions expertise and insider perspective, which was incredibly valuable.

Would make the product better:

One area for improvement would be providing a bit more upfront guidance on how to best allocate hours across different parts of the application, especially for applicants going through the process for the first time.

I worked with Sharon Joyce through Fortuna Admissions and I truly cannot recommend her enough!!!!! She is as good as they come!!!

From the very beginning, Sharon took a really personal approach. She spent time getting to know me, my background, and what I actually wanted out of an MBA, which made a huge difference when it came to shaping my story. Nothing ever felt generic and every part of my application felt like it genuinely reflected me. She was extremely thoughtful.

She was also responsive and candid throughout the entire process. I always appreciated how direct she was with feedback, whether it was on essays, positioning, or overall strategy. It made the process feel a lot less overwhelming knowing I could trust her to be honest and thoughtful in her guidance.

Another huge plus was how supportive she was while I was studying for the GRE. She recommended great tutors and was consistently encouraging during that part of the process, which honestly made a big difference in staying motivated.

With Sharon’s guidance, I was accepted to Berkeley Haas and I really do not think I could have gotten there without her. She helped me not only strengthen my application but also feel confident in how I was presenting myself.

Overall, I am incredibly grateful to have worked with her and would highly recommend her to anyone going through the MBA admissions process.

Sharon was the best - cannot recommend her enough!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

Amazing all around!

Would make the product better:

Nothing, the team is great!

Working with Sharon was one of the best decisions I made during the MBA application process.
I started out unsure about how to even begin the MBA application process, and Sharon reviewed my story and background and helped me understand where to begin—and more importantly, helped me believe in myself. That shift in confidence made a huge difference throughout the process.
She was incredibly knowledgeable about the MBA landscape, and it really showed. On the rare occasions she didn’t have an answer right away, she tapped into the broader Fortuna team—who clearly know the top programs inside and out—to make sure I always got thoughtful, informed guidance.
Sharon was also extremely available and responsive. Whether it was a big strategic question or something small, she was always there to talk things through, which made a stressful process feel much more manageable.
Her biggest impact was helping me shape a clear, authentic story that tied my background, goals, and each school together in a compelling way. And when it came to interviews, her preparation and feedback gave me a huge confidence boost.
I ended up getting into my dream school plus three others, and I genuinely don’t think I would have had the same outcome without her.
I can’t recommend Sharon highly enough.

Bill Kooser Helped Turn My EMBA Goals Into Reality

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Bill Kooser is an amazing coach. With his help, I was accepted to every EMBA program I applied to: MIT Sloan, Wharton, and Chicago Booth. I also received fellowships from Wharton and Booth that exceeded the cost of his services.

This was my second time applying to EMBA programs. The first time, I did not even receive an interview. Bill took the time to understand my goals and what I was looking for, and together we built a thoughtful strategy around which schools to target. We started with my resume, and after his initial review, he brought in a colleague who is Fortuna Admissions’ resume expert. Having that second set of eyes gave me confidence that my resume was clear, easy to understand, and impactful.

Next, we worked through my essay responses. Bill’s way of thinking is very aligned with how admissions committees think. He guided me on structure and provided thoughtful edits. He always asked the right questions, helping me get to the heart of the issue and communicate it as clearly as possible. He was also extremely responsive to edits and typically turned them around in under 24 hours.

Whenever I needed to talk something through, Bill was always available. I remember one time we spoke while he was at the airport, and he still made sure he had time for the conversation. I really appreciated that level of attentiveness and support.

After I submitted my applications and began receiving interview invitations, Bill helped me prepare for each school with mock interviews. His feedback was instrumental. I realized I needed to completely change how I structured my responses, and he helped me build a much stronger framework. We then refreshed and practiced before each interview.

Bill also supported me through the final decision-making process when I chose to attend Wharton. Hiring Bill was one of the best decisions I made. His expertise, insight, attentiveness, and responsiveness made the entire EMBA application process feel much more manageable. I would recommend him without hesitation. I had an amazing experience.

Booth Class of 2028

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

Fantastic resources

Would make the product better:

More deep dives

Eight months ago, an M7 admit felt like a long shot. Today, I'm heading to Chicago Booth, and working with Silpa Sarma at Fortuna was a meaningful part of that journey.
From the outset, Silpa brought a level of strategic clarity that helped me think through school selection with genuine rigor. She helped me feel confident about Booth not just as a reach but as a realistic and well-reasoned target given my profile. That reframe alone changed how I approached the entire process.
Where she really added value was in the details: tightening my resume, shaping my letters of recommendation, and most critically helping me build a narrative that was honest, confident, and contextually strong.
The essays and overall positioning came together because of her frameworks and feedback, but also because she pushed me to do the hard thinking myself. That balance between guidance and ownership is what I appreciated most.
If you're on the fence about working with a consultant, I'd say this: the right one helps you present the best version of yourself clearly enough that the admissions committee can see what you already know. Silpa did that for me.
