Not completely inaccurate. One of us, who submitted his app on last day of r2 has received an interview call. So it is pretty safe to assume that the applications that show a gmat received date of, say 5th jan, have already been processed.


Yes, exactly! The applications that show a gmat received date of 5th jan is already processed by the admissions office and sent to the Adcom for review. But there is no way for us to know if the application has already been reviewed by the adcom or it is just sitting at the bottom of the pile that is yet to be reviewed by the adcom. Do you agree?


:-D ..Hello Koraa... For some reason, I find this game of CR a pretty interesting way to pass time. Back to your question- We all know that Tepper receives loads of applications each year. They process it in bundles and then move forward to process other bundles that are due. Accordingly, the interview invites are sent. So again, I would say that for a candidate whose application was sent for review at an early date(4th, 5th...), the Interview invite would have already come if selected( as they have for some of us).

I don't mean to play spoil sport here. I hope everyone gets an interview call( if not here then somewhere else). All the best. :-D

I had my interview today with Rachel W. - a blind one.
It was fun to talk and easy one - no pressure.
Questions were typical, except for one or two, which were out of 'syllabus' :P
Was NOT asked 'walk me through your resume', but was asked, 'describe your current role'.
- diversity
- learn from peers / when you were given less amount (inadequate) of material / training / tools
- when did your decision had a -ve impact on the organization
- when did your decision had a +ve impact on the organization
- short term goal and what is plan B

All applications are checked for completeness by the admissions office before sending it to the Adcom for review. The fact that your status is currently "Awaiting" just means that the admissions office did not even get a chance yet to check your application for completeness. May be this is because of the sheer amount of applications they received in R2. You still shouldn't lose hope my friend!

I know getting this email is not enough. But atleast I know they have actually made some progress with my app 25 days later.

So, let's see what happens next.

I submitted my application on 2nd Jan. and received e-mail from Tepper on 10th Jan stating that my application is complete and have been sent for review. But I haven't heard from them since then. :(

Does it mean I am out of the game?

I would say 3/15/2017 is the only date that could answer our question. Till then we can assume whatever we want but you never know whats gonna happen. :)

I got an email on Jan 26 for "Invitation to Interview on Women's Visit Day (Feb 10)" . There are 2 options provided, either on-campus during Women's Visit Day or Skype on alternate dates.
Probably it is a wave focusing on female applicants :)
