how was the interview.....what all they asked ...what is your profile ???
I am a female indian with 6+ work ex in banking and IT sector. My interview was very conversational and I was asked the standard questions such as why MBA, why now , why Tepper,some behavioural questions related to conflict management and culture exposure etc.
It lasted for around 29 mins... now the wait begins!

And here I thought I was the only one freaking out ...
Most of us are in same boat ...
I cant even concentrate on my work ..
Now I feel preparing for gmat was a much better time than this

I'm on the same boat as well. Submitted my app on 27th Dec. Received "sent to committee for review" email on Jan 4th. After that it is awfully quiet.

I chose to write about a backlog that I had in my undergrad in the optional essay section (I believe my grad school GPA would compensate for this anomaly though). Maybe this prompted the Adcom to fully review my application before sending out an invite? I will never know. Only thing I can do now is stay calm and hope for the best.

I mean you log in to your account and check the date when it shows gmat score received. It will show you the latest date on which they began processing your application

All applications are checked for completeness by the admissions office before sending it to the Adcom for review. The fact that your status is currently "Awaiting" just means that the admissions office did not even get a chance yet to check your application for completeness. May be this is because of the sheer amount of applications they received in R2. You still shouldn't lose hope my friend!

I think this is an inaccurate perception. The date when it shows GMAT score received is the date when they matched your official score to your application. We only can see when the admissions office sent the application to Adcom. What happens after that is a black box.

Not completely inaccurate. One of us, who submitted his app on last day of r2 has received an interview call. So it is pretty safe to assume that the applications that show a gmat received date of, say 5th jan, have already been processed.

By analyzing the information available in this and other forums, I can tell you guys that there is definitely another wave of invites coming out soon. In the last three years, Tepper had consistently sent out a bunch of invites on the last week of January.

Yes, exactly! The applications that show a gmat received date of 5th jan is already processed by the admissions office and sent to the Adcom for review. But there is no way for us to know if the application has already been reviewed by the adcom or it is just sitting at the bottom of the pile that is yet to be reviewed by the adcom. Do you agree?
