Ugh I submitted back on 10/9, and my interview STILL hasn't been completed yet. It's already been almost a month since I got my invitation to interview. But my interviewer's vacation schedule just didn't match up with mine, and she just emailed saying that her vacation got extended by another week. So by the time I interview with her, it'll be over a month since I got my invitation, and people who submitted 2 months after me are already getting admitted. I'm so pissed that I didn't schedule the interview the week that I got the invitation because I was flying abroad to try to visit my dying grandma, but she died before I could make it anyways. If I had known, I would've just postponed my trip and done this interview. She would've wanted me to prioritize my career first anyways. And now this interview is being dragged out comically long and seats are just slipping away due to this crap.

Sorry I'm just so frustrated and want to vent here :(

Why you haven't contacted adcom and request re-assignment of interviewer? Call them or write and ask to find another one. This is indeed ridiculous and you decreasing your chances by waiting interviewer.

Does your application status change to something like "Being reviewed" when they start or does it just say Submitted?

Mine hasn't changed. Also, from previous years discussions seems like it won't changed and we will be notified by email or in the portal there will be an option to submit interviewer selection form.

When do they send us a reject letter incase they're not inviting for interview?

Is the turnaround for decisions (invited to interview/denied) around 2-3 weeks for CBS?
