Hey Aditya,

How are you planning to answer, what has changed since the application last hear?

Posted from my mobile device

Thought long and hard about that. I have no idea. I wish to work with an admission consultant who could help me enhance my app.

And that is why my question, because I got dinged last time in the second round, will the first round make any difference.

As far as I understand the process, the number of applicants is certainly going to be higher in Round 2, though that doesn't mean the seats will be less. Competition for places will certainly be higher. However, applying in 1 or 2 round is not the pivotal point of your application. It is what has changed since the last year. A higher/improved GMAT Score added with a Change in Job Responsibilities, Clarity on Short Term/Long Term Goal, Career Progression, NGO Experience are certain points that can be clubbed to make this year application different from last year and probably successful.

Could anybody share the recommendation questions that the evaluator needs to answer for the ISB PGP 2021 intake?
Thanks in advance

If you are a re-applicant, you need to have something different than last time, either GMAT score, or work ex, or extracurricular..something to show that you did not site idle and wanted to improve your profile in the time you got.

Should we provide only official e mail id of evaluator or personal email id would do?

This was mentioned in one of the webinars. You need to provide the official email id of your recommendors.

Thank you for the info. But I have already given personal email id and reference has already been submitted. I will write a mail to admin team on what to do.

Hi,

I recently submitted my application for ISB-PGP class of 2021.
In the last section of application, we had to upload self attested statement of integrity. However, in application preview, the signature section is left blank. I just want to confirm that this is this the norm or am I missing something here?
There is no place to upload signature as such and I have already uploaded self attested statement of integrity form.

I would suggest you talk to the adcoms wither through an email or phone call. We don't want to make any last minute silly mistakes. So it is better to confirm with the ISB folks even if you get a solid answer to this post.

Hi.
I have been recently promoted in my organization. Would it be wise to mention this in my ISB application?
Or would it lead to "difficult to handle" interview questions like "You are doing well in your job, recently got promoted, Why MBA now, then?"

I gave my GMAT on 31st August and there's a possibility I might not be able to send my official scores before the R1 deadline. Can I give my unofficial score for now?

You should mention it. A promotion is recognition for your good work in the past. It will not act as a hindrance to applying to an MBA, if your story is otherwise in place.

Hii all
Varun here. I am applying for ISB R1 this year. While going through the brochure I found about ELP held at ISB. I want to know whether recently, ELP was done for any IT Product org (as I am a s/w developer) ,Telecom company (my domain) or any mobile solution(area of expertise).

By all means, mention. In any case as you highlight your achievements in your profile and essays, they will throw you the question of doing well in job. You want to join MBA not because you are doing poor or well in your job, you want to do it because its your calling... You can rather mention in interview that even a promotion could not deter you from rethinking your decision of doing an MBA as you had been planning for it since past one year or so and once when you set your mind onto something, you see the end of it.

All the best.

I have composed my essays in Ms Word. When I paste them in the application portal, the paragraph spaces vanish.

Can anyone tell me the spaces will show automatically in the final application, or I should manually adjust myself in the portal.

I am worried if I adjust manually in the portal, double spaces may get created in the final application

Ace1990 - The answer depends on several aspects of your application. If I were in your position, I would try to have a solid GMAT score and stronger recommendations. Obviously, you should write some kickass essays. That said, I would advise you to get your profile evaluated by our admission consultants. All the best.
