I submitted on September 30th and my application is "under review". I think of all the components of all the applications, I enjoyed the Johnson TOC essay the most! Hopefully I will get an interview invite soon.. the wait is killing me :D

Did you mean changed to "Under Review" from "Submissions are opened"? I am under the impression that "Submissions are opened" is the default status.

Johnson just became one of my favourite schools. I received an email from a Johnson person who said that my PDF looked strange (had pictures overlaying other pictures) for the TOC essay. She said, while she is forwarding my application, she wanted to know whether that was intended to look like that.

It obviously was not, and I think there was something wrong with the upload, so I sent her the actual PDF over email. I do not know any other school that would do something like this.

VERY impressed.

I have found that positive attitude towards application assessment throughout the process. Particularly, I found current students from Cornell the most open and responsive.

Has anyone else received an interview invite? I applied for the 2-year program on October 5 and I've heard nothing and it still just says "submitted." Should I assume I'm not going to get an invite?

I don't think it means anything, mine says "under review" currently. It probably means they haven't started reviewing yours yet.

I wouldn't worry about anything so early. It's barely been two weeks. I'm going to call the admission office today though. Haven't heard from the person who asked for a resubmission for my TOC essay. I want to know if everything is okay.

12 days is way too short to assume you aren't getting an invite. I think 30 days post-deadline is probably when I'd start to question.

Just curious. With Cornell, did everyone submit one or two letters of recommendation. I have one that I feel really comfortable with but could grab a second if necessary.

My application status just switched from "under review" to "schedule interview". However, I have not received an email invite to interview. Does anyone know if the status changes first? I'm trying not to get too excited but I'm pretty excited :).

I havent been checking this thread nor the Johnson application portal. But my app says schedule interview.
What does that mean, and where do I do it ?
I dont know how long it has been 'schedule interview' either.
