Today is the last day to get invites, Is that right? If one hasn't received invite by end of day there is almost 99% chance that he/s is rejected?

No sounds like some last minute invites will be sent next week but one has to wonder what inclined them to wait so long.

I think they came between 1:30-2pm. The email said that all the invites would be out by 2pm EST -- the wave today was ~1:46pm, so safe to say it's over.

To be honest, you not being called yet is giving me hope. :-)
I know it need not always work this way, but with a Stanford invite I'd say an MIT invite should come.
I do feel today's wave doesn't seem to be big. I was expecting more people to get it even if I didn't.

Lol @stoiczoan you give me too much credit! MIT was definitely my weakest app.

I was expecting a huge wave today too because I still believe that on 11/2 there will probably be just a few invites and mostly dings. Or else why would their original email not include 11/2 as one of the days?
But again, it doesn't make sense that so far not that many people have gotten invites.
This whole thing is very confusing, why would MIT make their original email so vague!!!

This is what the AO sent to me, copied here. "Thanks for your note. We will be sending interview invites again on October 26th and November 2nd. You will receive a decision, interview or not, on November 2nd." I am very surprised to see not even single invite from healthcare... During the earlier chat, I remembered someone mentioned the last invites would be those interviewed before, which means re-applicant only??

ISB is my next hope then.

Did anyone invited to interview select LA or SF as their interview location? The west coast invites on clear admit livewire mentioned they were interviewing in Cambridge.

ISB is my next hope then.

I am still a little hopeful about MIT, but being an Indian Candidate with 730 GMAT and 7 years work ex in non-profit education - how much am I justified in having this hope?
also why ISB over ROSS?
