Is it true that interviews for november round are still being held. Won't admissions have already decided whom to admit?

Yes, I too find this to be quite strange.

I had heard Tuck's admissions office was one of the most transparent (I think there was a study by P&Q), but my experience with them has been the exact opposite. Applications and stats have to be perfect and show your "love" for the school, but the school can't manage a simple FIFO with 2 rounds? Earlier, the student ambassador didn't reply to me for well over a month, I was allocated another one who also didn't reply for 2 weeks, not to mention the ones that I reached out to directly never replied. This pushed my application from the October round to November. Very callous on the school's part. Should've withdrawn my application earlier with all the red flags.

I don't think this is true as decisions are all going to be released on Friday of this week.

I wouldn't be surprised if applications were being reviewed all the way through Friday. This happens at the undergrad level all the time.

I know for a fact November round folks were getting interview invites even after January round invites started talking. Tuck's admission committee isn't as organised as they'd like their applicants to be.

I had my interview on campus this Monday i.e. 5th of Feb. A second year admissions associate took my interview.

It was a very conversational interview and I could make most of the points. Not the perfect of interviews but I gave my best shot considering that I was wired up.

General questions including Walk me through your resume, Why MBA, Why Tuck, Strengths and Weakness. Interview lasted for 35 mins. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Post interview I attended a core marketing class. Very interesting and immersive. Following which there was a campus tour and Q&A.

Overall a very hectic day that started at 7:30 am and ended at 2:30 pm however one of the most immersive and insightful days.

The Tuck MBA process is the most transparent and I was really humbled by the kindness and support provided by the students and alumni at Tuck over the last 3 months.

Now the long wait starts.

I flew from London. There were candidates from Singapore, Mainland China and Mexico for the interview. So quite an effort put in by a lot of candidates.

FYI : I applied in the Jan round

GMAT 710 Work ex : 9 years in consulting in US/UK/Europe/Singapore

CA/CFA

Lots of Extra Curricular and Leadership awards.

All the best everyone.

We should see some admit calls going out today, looking at historical trends. Good luck folks.

really? I thought calls won't happen until tomorrow. Also for Tuck, admits are all calls? or some are calls and some are emails.

Some folks recieve calls a day before. Regarding if its all call - there's no guarantee but if you do get one then yeah you're in for sure.

Congratulations to all who already got calls.
All the best to all who are chewing their nails, pens, etc. (or whatever anxiety supressing habit(s) you may have - if any)..
Just kidding. But really, wish you all the best.

From what I remember, early calls usually went to Consortium and Forte applicants
