At Booth, been waiting since December.

Has anyone heard about anyone getting in? Or is the theory that no one will hear until the round 2 releases in a few weeks?

I submitted an update in the middle of February and another subsequent update in late February (the second update was merely to provide a slight change of plans indicated in the first update). I heard from adcom last week and they indicated wanting to connect in early April as this should render a clearer picture of the 1Y class and timing for waitlisted candidates.

I know in past classes there have been decisions rendered at the end of March, shortly after the R2 decisions get released. I don't know if this 'early April' timeline is just for me (i.e. they're going to defer a decision on me until later) or if they're going to be releasing a good chunk of decisions in April as opposed to previous years in March.

(1Y program) Damn..submitted updates twice, improved my GRE and tried reaching out to my waitlist manager, but never heard anything back until this rejection email! I was expecting the waitlist process would be more engaging. Not happy with how Kellogg handled it.

That was me. I got the email out of blue and had a feeling it wasn't something good. I logged in and my portal displayed "new update available" -- rejection.

It was a very disappointing process as it seems other folks who didn't even provide any update were contacted by adcom. I updated my status twice and even increased my GRE from 322 to 325 (though by not much, but it was sort of an effort that I put into this process to demonstrate how much I liked Kellogg).

So, well, I just don't understand how this Kellogg waitlist game was played. I wasn't even worth being on the waitlist any longer from Kellogg's perspective, was I.

No, and that is the most disappointing or even disrespectful part I'd say. I did clearly specified through my waitlist update that Kellogg was my top choice.

Already sent an email asking why but no reply yet.

Got the call this afternoon that I was accepted off the waitlist!!! Very Excited! Best of luck to everyone else, hopefully, others have heard today also!
