Joining the wait-list gang as well. :)

Like others, I'd also appreciate any advice on how to approach this.
And would it be possible to find out if they've increased the number of wait-listed candidates to account for recent uncertain times?

Hey, guys!
I am on the WL as well.
Do we have any menu that we can or should accept/decline the WL status?
I cannot find that on my portal except the letter.
Since I had to “accept” the WL status on the portal for other schools, I am just wondering.
Good luck to you all :)

You can. You click on the link in the letter, and from there there's another portal you can go to and "accept" or "defer."

Click on the waitlist faq (in blue) on the letter and from there it opens another site titled waitlist. There in purple letters you’ll see waitlist update forum in the first line.

This just gives me a page saying thank you for accepting. Please provide more details. Nothing about being able to defer or accept

Whoops. You’re right. Sorry! I thought there was a defer option but I was wrong.

Thanks for your feedback.
So it seems that the portal you mentioned is for the update of our profile.
And I guess that we have to wait until the adcom contact us to check our intention of remaining on the WL.

Yupp. R1 waitlist here. Adcomm will send an email in some time (within a week probably). There will be an option to Accept/Decline your spot on the waitlist. Post that if you accept they assign you a waitlist manager.
