Hi Dan! I'm wondering if you know whether the invites for interviews have already been sent out.. Also for silver scholars does the invites come out earlier or later? Thanks!!

Unfortunately that information is privileged, even out of my reach as an admissions volunteer :-(

They work up to the deadline, so I expect that quite a few are still yet to be gone through.

I can't expand on anything related to India, but my understanding is that the interview questions for SOM are pretty standardized. My interviewer, an adcom, even apologized that the interview would be impersonal because the questions he had to ask were rigidly set. It's all too quiet here, and time is ticking - final decisions March 15th. If any of us still get an invitation I'm guessing that it'll be for a Skype interview.

The % invited is far below this year's R1 and last year's R2, so that might indicate some hope.

Personally, I'm starting to plan for next year...

Their website says final decisions on the 25th. Have they said it coming earlier this time? If not then there's still some time.

It's also pretty quiet aroudn these parts cuz clearadmit livewire now has a comments section on posts. So people just talk smack there instead lol.

It's a bit tight but i got my interview invite just a week and few days ago and they are still popping up on livewire. Still 3 weeks to go so there is still a good chance for a number of invites to still go out I think.

Denied without an interview. Very disappointed. Had rationalized other schools but was pretty set on Yale from the start. Does anyone know if admissions provides feedback?

My guess is Yale is much more competitive this year - maybe another 25~30% rise in applicants?
