I have a total work ex of 6.5 years out of which 5 years as an entrepreneur and developing my firm, into general trading and services.

I am looking for a transition in career. What are the career prospects after doing executive MBA from India or abroad... I am looking for a job prospective after MBA.

Hello Abhimanyu14,

I am assuming you are talking about the full-time executive MBA programs by top B-Schools in India and abroad. Transition is possible. I am sure entrepreneurship is a completely different learning. You can leverage your experience and get into any job role depending on your skills and what you really would like to transition your career with.
You could read this article that talks about post MBA career paths. B-Schools would like to evaluate your roles and responsibilities in the last 6.5 years, the challenges you would have faced, your clarity on how you map these to your post MBA career goals and of course your GMAT score.

Plan the whole process well.

Hi, Instead of the Executive program, it's better to focus on Full-time MBA program. It will help to get a transition in the career ladder.

For 6 years, I think you can apply to an exec MBA but some of them need 10years experiences.

For « classic » MBA HBS or Stanford students have around 5 y. Experiences so it’s not so far to you.
