Wow, I can't thank you guys enough for this great initiative. At the start of it, I just registered for the sake of it. And for the initial days never really posted any explanations, just solved and got the timer points (I wish I hadn't done that). But Randomly while going through the points table I notice the team I am a part of is coming First and I was at the 28th position then. I just thought of contributing to my team (At least to get GMAT CLUB TEST :) ) by posting the solutions. Getting kudos for the right explanations gave me so much motivation that I continued from thereon. Improving my ranking from 28th to 8th last night and now 9th :(. I am really going to miss the 8:30 PM every evening cause no matter what I had blocked this slot just for GOT.

Thanks a ton to the whole team for organizing this event. I am sure it wouldn't have been easy (Getting the questions, posting the questions, getting the sponsors, developing the rules and regulations, the scoring algorithm and what not).

Same here, I started it just for fun and only just solved the timers and got the bonuses, never bothering to write explanations or get Kudos. Then I also noticed after a week or so that since my team the Wildlings were ahead, but while my rankings were quite far behind I then decided to just help contribute as well to help get the GMAT club tests, although knowing I wouldn't be in the top rankings, by writing more explanations. I moved up from around #50 to #27 now, no chance for any individual prize but at least the GMAT club tests and also it was fun! thank you for GMATclub for arranging these, it prompted me to post explanations which I had not really done before which raised my confidence on attempting these tough questions

Every word of thank you won't justify the value you guys have added to our preparation. Even though my team is second yet the encouragement I got from each participant and you guys is tremendous.

I had literally cancelled my plans just to be available for this competition at 8:30pm IST.

Posting explanations have helped me in improving thought process and thinking behind each question.

I initially started GOT just to solve questions, not bothering to post explanation or get Kudos. But I missed the point: writing an explanation and always learning new perspectives from others' answers are simply an invaluable way to improve my performance through others' lens.

Thanks to all GOT members (Wildings, Dothrakis, White Walkers, and Westerosis) for such active participation.

This game is so neck to neck like a nail biting match.

LOOK,

Even today, in the winning team of wildings. top 4 slots will be decided on the last day...
Even i am eager to watch for their result today because of the rules, only top3 will be going into top 3, the 4th one will be joining the 13th person. so sad.. But i am proud of that 13th person for the fight.. Atlast its the fight that matters not the position.. hats off to that guy before even knowing who that guy will be..

I really enjoy this drama in Wildlings. Even yesterday I was leading the team, now I am on the 4th place : ))

Glad i was part of Wildlings. Joined the competition a week late and then there was no looking back. It didn't matter how much occupied i was, it became mandatory for me to workout the questions on time and then posting an explanation (something i'm not comfortable with and this competition changed that. Posts before competition: <5. Posts later: 65). Thanks to every moderator and participant for such an amazing month.

I hope the discipline stays.

Yes same here. Didn't get any points for posting, as per the contest rules there is 24 hour window. Please look into this.

Guys, it gets very busy right before and after 8 AM Pacific as we have to prepare new questions and provide kudos for the multiple discussions that often half five pages. If we try to do this right before the cut off, we don’t have enough time to post the questions. You should not expect kudos If you post less than 30 mins before the 8 am pst. It’s just not possible logistically. We’re not being mean but we just can’t be in three places at the same time. Sorry.

A big thank you to the moderators, BB, Bunuel and others who helped frame and conduct this competition. I really looked forward to solving the 5 questions every day and going over my mistakes. I also kept a close eye on the score and began posting explanations cause the competition was so close!!

Again, a big thanks and would be grateful to know when the final points (individual/team) will be declared!! :D

Dear all,

It's been a pleasure and a lot of hard work to participate in this competition. I must say it was time consuming but it was worth the while. It's been challenging and I am happy for the improvement I made during the period of this game. Once I don't get a question correctly, it takes me back to the drawing board to build myself in preparation for the next set of questions. I am not a fan of posting explanation but I am amazed at the number of explanations I did during this game.

Special thanks to bb, Bunuel, Skywalker18 and all other moderators at the background for the amazing job done.

Thank you to all competitors, it was challenging and interesting.

Congratulations for JonShukhrat and Kinshook
LevanKhukhunashvili and I follow you.

You all made the competition so exciting and meaningful. GMAT is all about perseverance, and that is exactly what you all did.

Thanks for all the Wildings members who never gave up although the lagging start in the beginning of the competition, kept motivating each other through messages and shared the same goal till the end.

Congratulations for the Top 10 in each team, You all held a big part of the burden and responsibility of you teams.

Special appreciation to Westeros who were always relentless to narrow the gap with their strong rival White Walkers.

Lastly, thanks to all the moderators and organizers of this competition.

As the De-Facto Captain of the Wildlings, all I can say is that you my as well crown us champs
And look who was right on day one.........

For the record my giving of kudos was strictly based on explanations provided, and was never effected by team name. As also noted, moderators could not and will not benefit from this competition.

what you guys do is just awesome.
I was not able to post explanations on last day of GOT because of my GMAT exam. I end up scoring Q50 V25 IR7 verbal was so frustrating for me.
it was so heartbreaking for me I missed GOT and my GMAT exam didn't go well either
