Thank you! I can confirm from their site - they just announced it late last week it seems: https://asunow.asu.edu/20200326-asu%E2% ... ba-program

Great they were able to secure it and get it just in time for the new incoming year.
I have updated the list.

P.S. Sad the Carey has falled down to #35 in the rankings...

Yeah but their operations and logistics management specialty was ranked 3rd best in the country and jumped two spots this year. They are known for this specialty and the fact I like the most about them is that approximately 70% of their students are recruited from campus recruiting events. That’s a great news because Arizona can be far away from the scene when it comes to networking and such.

I was surprised they fell in their rankings too but I’m glad that my area of specialization is still very good!

Thanks! I did not know that. That's good. Good for them!
I think they are most well-known for their free tuition program    :inlove:

I may be wrong but NYU Stern did a press release on 28th January, 2020 that NYU Stern’s Two-year Full-time MBA Program Receives STEM Designation

Please find the link attached below -
https://www.stern.nyu.edu/experience-stern/news-events/nyu-stern-s-two-year-full-time-mba-program-receives-stem-designation

I just wanted to check that is the announcement by NYU Stern, provided in the above link, official or not?

As mentioned already, Yale SOM offers STEM as well (management science concentration). It's not updated on the list.

Thank you so much! I have added Yale and thank you Arro44 for alerting me to Booth expanding their STEM certification to all MBA concentrations.

Got it. I really hope that Stanford STEM-accredits their MBA program. They're my dream school, but I'm deeply considering going to Wharton instead cause at least they have a path to a STEM OPT. :|

EDIT: It seems the P&Q article interviews the person who wrote the op-ed.

Just received an email

"We are excited to share the news that our Cornell Two-year Ithaca MBA and One-year Ithaca MBA programs have received STEM designation! The STEM designation recognizes the emphasis that our residential MBA programs place on training our students in management science, data analytics, technology, and other similar disciplines integral to contemporary business leadership.

The STEM designation approval also allows international students on an F-1 visa who pursue one of these programs to apply for STEM OPT (Optional Practical Training) extension, enabling them to work in their field for a total of up to 36 months in the U.S.

We’re thrilled to be able to offer our students a curriculum that has a strong analytical foundation and opportunities to pursue coursework in engineering, computer science, and other STEM-related disciplines, as well as courses at our Cornell Tech campus. We continue to invest in the experience of our MBA students and are pleased to see these opportunities recognized - it's a very exciting time to be part of the Johnson and Cornell communities!

If we can be helpful with answering any questions, please don't hesitate to be in touch."

Hopefully Helpful..!!

Thank you. I have updated Johnson's Info. Also, someone mentioned that Olin was STEM-certified but I can't find anything yet except the Dual-degree path with a specialized Masters. Does anyone have info on that?

Thanks!
BB.

Harvard MBA is working to be STEM-certified.... but it is a long road apparently... still, this leaves Stanford GSB as the only "hold out"?

Poets and Quants has released a list of schools with Stem tracks or complete programs.
Almost 25-30 schools in that list.

Thank you bb for the list. It is very helpful.
Just wanted to convey that William and Mary (Mason school of business) has got a STEM Designation for Business Analytics and Supply chain Management.
Under Specializations section here - https://graduate.mason.wm.edu/mba/full- ... academics/
Please verify and update.
Hope it helps international stuents like me looking for STEM MBAs.

EDIT: I have an update from school that they are planning a STEM designation for finance also. It would probably be in place for the 2021 intake.

HBS is now STEM designated. But one has to take all electives courses from a pre-specified list. Bummer for those who want more a "strategy" oriented curricula instead of analytics.

GSB is full STEM now.
