Congrats! I got an admit to this program today as well. Do you have a strong preference as to 1 year or 2 year programs? What do you want to do post-graduation?

Congrats to you too! I do not have any strong inclination to a 1 year or 2 year programme. I just want to decrease the opportunity cost involved. If I choose Babson, then definitely my majors would be entrepreneurship

Hi All!

Glad to find this thread. I was not too sure if there were many people applying to this school!! I am an Indian female candidate with 5 years of work experience in risk management domain.

I have a quick doubt. I need to decide between two schools and I am quite confused to be honest. Your views will be appreciated.

I have an admit to one year program at ISB and two year program at Babson (with full scholarship)

ISB
Pros- One year program, global ranking, job prospects
Cons- Lack of diversity and international exposure

Babson
Pros- International exposure, diverse class
Cons- 2-year, Job prospects after the MBA, school recognition in the US

I plan to work in the product development/consulting/risk management/insurance field after graduating.

I think this decision will depend on what you value -- and your gut will usually know what is right. If I were you, your con of "job prospects after the MBA" would concern me a lot personally. I am choosing Babson over higher-ranked schools in part because entrepreneurship is my goal. But if you're looking for name recognition, it matters where you want to be after graduation. Hi Everyone, 
I received an admit with Scholarship for Babson 1 Year MBA program for class Intake Fall 2020. 
I have some queries and would appreciate if someone could share their views on them. 
1. Considering the ongoing Covid and Market Scenario, Would a 1 year MBA program would be too much of a risk? Should a 2 Year MBA be preferred in current situation. 
2. I have an inclination towards switching my career from Energy Industry to Consulting. Is Babson a good brand for someone who is looking for a future role in consulting industry. 
3. I understand Babson takes a lot of pride in incalculating entrepreneurship mentality in its Business Grad and I wouldn't mind learning and leaning towards starting my own firm someday. However seeing an immediate future post MBA , I would have a debt and would like to attain my financial freedom before I venture on to my Entrepreneurship journey. Hence a job post completion in New England region ( where my wife also works ) is something that I am targeting for. 
4. Anyone had a chance to interact with current batch of Babson MBA grads and could gather some useful feedback for making a decision. 
5. I also have an offer of admit in of the STEM masters in Business Analytics from UConn( No Scholarship) and Full Time MBA from Stevens Institute of Technology , NJ( Some Scholarship) . Considering the current available choices among Babson and these , What would you recommend ?
