I was pretty disappointed with the technical issues in Chicago's online application as well.
1) Several of the short answer prompts did not state character limits in the prompt but there was actually a limit on the number of characters you could enter. I had written out answers in Word and had to cut my responses to these significantly when I tried putting them in online because it wouldn't take my whole response. It would have been nice to know the limits upfront.
2) One of the questions lets you put in a large amount of text but the PDF proof at the end cuts everything but the first few lines of the response. It wasn't clear whether admissions would be able to see the rest of your answer so I ended up significantly cutting down that answer when I caught the issue on the PDF proof at the last minute.
Really hope they fix these issues to not cause confusion to applicants.

Considering they send invites out all the way up to October 14th, when do you all think that the first invites will be sent?
Yeah same here. At first I just noticed the word "INVITE". but then soon came to reality after reading the subject line properly.
