Neither did I! Just wondering - since they don't send out rolling interview invites, isn't it kind of a given that we will either be rejected or waitlisted AGAIN? At least for me, as an international student, I can't be considered in R3 anyway (so can't be waitlisted), so why not just send out a rejection and let us get on with our lives?!

Anyone who got waitlisted without an interview got an update?

I haven’t.

Sorry to hear that mate! Guess we're in the same boat here though!

I'm an international candidate too! They will update our waitlist status with their decision release deadline. But yeah, I don't think there's much of a chance for international candidates who were waitlisted without an interview now.
Especially because they have only explicitly mentioned on campus interviews for round 3.

Does anybody know of any waitlisted applicants (particularly Early Action Waitlisted Candidates) that ended up being accepted? Do all waitlisted applicants find out during the R2 decision date or is there the potential that they hear back earlier?

I was waitlisted at the end of round 1, but was able to interview with the school. I have a very weak GMAT score, so I know exactly what my hold up is. I'll be taking it for the fourth time this week... I know I am only holding on because I have a very strong resume and strong ties to the community. Hopefully we will all get updates at the end of the month.

Anyone else, who was waitlisted without an interview, received an invite to interview recently?
Just got invited for a skype interview with an ad-com member.
Don't know what to make of it though!

My interviewer had like 6-7 open slots.
I believe other adcom members might be interviewing people too, so maybe you'll hear from them soon.

Great! Congrats!
Did you also share an update recently via the waitlist form?

I wrote a letter of continued interest, which I believe is what got me the invite.

Yes, I submitted an update on my job change and continued interest a couple of weeks ago.
When is your interview scheduled for?

I guess the decision will come on March 19 with the Round 2 decisions...

I guess they are interviewing candidates who are showing an undying interest in attending Fuqua.

I've scheduled my interview this Thursday. What about you?

Hey sorry, I think my last reply didn't get posted.

Can you tell me a little more about this "letter of continued interest"?

Like what exactly do we mention, becoz why Fuqua is already mentioned in the applications. And how long should this letter be?

Honestly had no idea about such a letter, I thought update means only in terms of GMAT score or job updates.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Nikki4221
You can include a lot of things in the letter of continued interest. Recent encounter with alums, current students or the adcom; updates to your candidacy; new things you found out about the school which makes it an ideal choice for you etc.

I had a chat with a current student so I focused on the bits and pieces of that conversation and how it helps me establish my fit even further.
I started by thanking the adcom for considering me and ended with reiterating that Fuqua is my top choice.

Hope this helps!

Hi! Has anyone who wasn't invited to interview (but waitlisted) heard anything yet? When does the portal get updated, and if there's no update - that means I'd be waitlisted again, right?

Thanks :)

Hi there
I was waitlisted without an interview in r1. I received an interview invite after r2 invites were sent out.
Got admitted today!

One can't be admitted without an interview.

Also, yes. If I'm not mistaken, you'll continue to be on the waitlist unless you're accepted or denied. Realistically, you will either be accepted or decide to withdraw your application. I haven't seen many people who were denied from the waitlist. But this is just anecdotal and I can very well be completely off the mark here!
I do remember reading or hearing that you'll continue to be on the waitlist if a decision isn't rendered for you.
