Soo if we did not receive an interview invite, is that considered a waitlist? Were there any rejections sent out yesterday? Posted from my mobile device

I received an email on 29th October saying your status has been updated. Logging in to the portal, it said that you have been put on a waitlist and asked me to accept/ reject being on the waitlist. (I applied in EA round) One of my friend received a similar email but on the portal, it was mentioned that she has been rejected. Last year, there were atleast 7 people selected from the waitlist. So there is a small chance still.

Technically, it's an interview waitlist (or a rejection, depending on your optimism levels) which is different from the standard post-interview waitlist. Don't think any rejection mails were sent out, but the language of the 'not invited' email seemed to be more of a kind way of telling the applicant to focus on other applications. Hope this clarifies!

Did anyone else get waitlisted without an interview even? R1 applicants. Wondering if it's worth the wait till the R2 decision date *rolls eyes*

I did. I honestly don’t think there are a lot of chances for those waitlisted without interviews. But hey expect the worst, hope for the best! Posted from my mobile device

I was waitlisted after my interview as R1 candidate. Probably assume it was my low GRE score which was 321 (155V and 166Q). Retook in late December and scored a 327 (162V and 165Q). Also sent the committee a letter expressing my fit and interest for the program.

Did anyone attend the waitlist webinar last week and hear Lauren say that they could accept the Executive Assessment on a case by case basis? Was she talking about daytime or just for EMBA waitlisted applicants?
