I guess Bangalore invites have started flowing in, as I received one just now, can anyone please direct me on how to prepare for the interview, or anyone who has gone through the process.
Would really appreciate the help.
Thanks in advance
And all the best to everyone in the forum for their final decision/interview
Sent from my Mi 4i using
GMAT Club Forum mobile appI was interviewed in Hyd campus. Alumni will take the interview. 3 member panel. It was a very friendly chat. I don't think any preparation is needed. But then have a great clarity on what you do at your office, what you want to do after one year, why this mba thing, what if not mba, blah blah...
You need confidence nothing else.
"You need confidence nothing else"
How do you know you nailed it.
MBA Interviews are subjective. 8 out of 10 feel good post their interview but statistically 3 out of 10 gets the admit.
Wish you good luck!
Disclaimer: Below are just my thoughts, please read it with a grain of salt.
I sort of agree with both of you at some level, because right amount of confidence is definitely pivotal but at the end its more about the 'fit' between you and the school, you might be extremely good on paper and have crystal clear & pragmatic career goals which you showcase during interview, but at the end if the school prefers someone with a different personality or thinks that they may not be able to find you the right career opportunity post-MBA, then they may not give decision in your favour.
And thanks guys for the wishes

I think it is not just about the fit. I think the interviewer while going over your application want to make sure that you tick mark the essential traits to be a good manager. If he/she feels you still need to have a deeper perspective of handling work/issues the decision won't come in your favor no matter even if you goals are well aligned with your background as well as the college fit.
