Hi
I've seen some interview debriefs for the one-year program. I'd like to check if the interview is a blind interview or has the interview seen the whole application? Does anyone know? Thanks in advance!

They have seen your resume and have also been given certain points by the admissions committee to bring up with you. They have not seen your whole application though.

For me, the scholarship info was in my letter and also mentioned by the admissions person who called me

Is there a difference between scheduling an interview and attending LEAD? Does everyone attend LEAD?

I'm not sure about the phrasing of the first question but I can answer a little about LEAD. It's a two day event that only a select few get invited to each round. It's usually top 25-35 prospective applicants who are eligible for their full-tuition Park Fellowship and other available scholarships. While there, you network and interact with the other applicants, current students, and faculty and staff.

The first day is more relaxed with a social event and dinner. While the second day is where you have to bring your A-game. They will evaluate you based on team exercises and the case study among other things. It's fun and I advise that if you do get the invitation to attend and do your interview there because you'll have more to talk about and see if the program is the right fit for you.

My application was 'under review' for a little over two weeks. But I don't think there is any set guideline that would apply to all cases.

Hope this helps.

I am living in Shanghai, China and applying for 2 Year MBA Jan Round. If I get an interview, will it be Skype or local alumni?

Anyone with experience living abroad? Which city did you live in?

AsadAbu I got the following information from their website. https://www.johnson.cornell.edu/Program ... quirements

What is the minimum English language exam score required for admission?

For entry into a Residential MBA program at Johnson, the Admissions Committee seeks applicants who report one of the following minimum scores:

  • 100 Internet-based TOEFL (with a minimum score of 25 in each section)
  • 7.0 band score IELTS (with a minimum score of 7.0 in the speaking and writing modules)

Applicants who meet or exceed the minimum TOEFL score requirement but have scores of 25 or less in one or more sections may submit their score for admissions consideration; candidates offered admission may be required to complete the English for International Students and Scholars (EISS) summer program prior to enrolling in the MBA program.

Hey workout,
you're genius! What an instant response it is! Thanks mate.
One more query: I'm trying to find out some top-notch university (business school for full-time MBA) where TOEFL is not required. Do you ave any info about that?

I guess MIT Sloan, Yale, Fuqua, CBS etc doesn't require any TOEFL scores. I suggest you go through the respective school's website for more info on this.
