Admitted! Finallly! But have not received any link or news about any fellowships. Does anyone know how this works- can I expect any $$ in the upcoming days/ months or should I prepare to pay 100%? :(

If you have no mention of a fellowship on your application portal or in your admission email, you should not expect anything in the next few days. There is a possibility that you could be allocated some after rounds 2 and 3 shake out, or possibly even after school starts. They don't know exactly how much they'll have to give away for the year, as donations come in throughout the year.

Conversion rates depend greatly on the applicant levels in the next rounds. Keep in touch with the adcom, make sure they know that you really want in.

I'm not sure about that. I want to say no, but that is a good question to direct towards the admissions committee. Sometimes you can convince them to send a little your way if you have competitive offers elsewhere or something.

hey round 2 applicant here i havent yet got an interview call.....is it futile waiting now since so many round 2 applicants have already got an invite? man i really needed an admit in KF....seems like I will have to let go of UNC KF as well..... another rejection i guess.....this indian IT male profile will never let me get an admit in a good US university.... seems like I am condemned to write pathetic SQL queries and JAVA programs for life

I can't name anyone off the top of my head, but I think there were a handful. The admissions committee will reanalyze the waitlisted students during future admissions rounds, and so the waitlisted EA admits tend to blend together with the admits from R2 and R3.

If there is something on your profile that is especially weak, like little quant background or poor GMAT scores, you can try to address these ASAP and tell the admissions committee that you are retaking the GMAT or taking a class in accounting at a local college or something to shore up your weaknesses. There are no guarantees with the waitlist, but that's the best thing you can do.
