hey just got an interview invite from georgetown... georgetown mba team is in delhi from feb 11-12... i want to appear for a face 2 face interview but my only concern is if i get a call from isb and sp jain and the interview happens to be the same time arnd georgetown then i'll be in trouble... anyone facing similar issues?


You should close on the invite you have in hand...when ISB and SP jain eventually do send out invites I am sure they will have multiple dates to choose from. So don't worry...

Also.. in your opinion is f2f interview a better option? I am from Jaipur and I can come down to delhi for interview but I am confused whether to opt for Skype or f2f.

i would suggest bhai delhi aake dede interview.. face 2 face will always be the best... book ur slot for face 2 face and also i just enquired isb delhi interview is between feb 5,6,7,8 so no clash... only worried abt sp jain as its interview is between feb 9,10,11,12

Hi...those of you who got an invite can u share the date when you received an email stating that your application is under review....? I received a mail on 16th jan stating that my application has been forwarded to the adcom....no signs of interview calls yet..so I was a bit anxious...

Hmm.. I also feel f2f will give better opportunity for a casual free flowing interaction. I guess I will book for 12th September. All the best to you too for interview and see you in delhi hopefully...

Does the interview invitation mean that the AdCom reviewed the application and selecting me for the 'next round'? Or is it just randomly assigns the interview.

Means selected for next round (one step away from admit)... it's not randomly. I guess interview invite means they have liked your essays and overall profile and want to understand if in person you fit the bill...

Hi all,

I finished my UG in Anna University, India in 2007. I got a final percentage and not a GPA. The university doesn't have a grading scale for anyone who graduated before 2011. Georgetown won't review my application because the grading scale is missing. Did anyone else face a similar problem and how did you get around it? I submitted my application in round 2 and I'm losing precious time because of this missing document. Appreciate the help.

I submitted on 12/18/2015, last LOR submitted on 12/27/2015. I just got an email today on 1/23/2016 (They worked on Saturday?) , said "Thank you for applying to the Georgetown McDonough MBA Program. We have reviewed your application materials for completion, and your application status is now available."

Seems like they just checked that my materials are completed after almost a whole month, but not even got a chance to review by ADCOM? Hmmm, is that the same cases for other applicants?

Indian applicants who have interview scheduled in Delhi/Mumbai.. did you guys receive any details of the interviewer? I have only got email stating time and place of interview and few other instructions.

Are these interviews being conducted by adcom or alumni?
