People who had a second round of interview, please share your experience.

Congrats!! Do let us know how it went.

B.

Hi,
Just had my 2nd interview an hour back on Skype.

Did very well and the panel also said so. Unfortunately, I have been in this situation with HKU and ISB before and thus am not too hopeful.

Anyhow, for the benefit of those who still have to attend the 2nd interview:

There were two people in the panel, one professor and an alum from the 2004 batch.
A very friendly interview that lasted 22 mins.
The questions were:
1. Tell us something about yourself.
2. Why NUS? Why now?
3. How would you differentiate yourself from other Indian IT applicants?
4. Discussion on my start-up and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Its current status and my role/learnings.
5. One start-up that I look up to for inspiration.
6. Discussion on my current role as a stay-at-home dad. Am I doing something currently that would help me to transition into my post-MBA career aspirations?
7. Volunteering experience discussion.
8. One dream company and why?
9. Which other programs have I applied to and why?
10. If there was one thing on my CV that I could change - what it would be and why?

Any questions for us.

I would honestly be most disappointed if I do not make it through but it would also not come in as a surprise if I don't get the call!!

Best of luck guys and gals. :)
Hope this helps!!

Rahul

Hi Guys,

I am a reapplicant this year, last year I was rejected after the interview and no particular reason was given. However, I have an issue in creating a login since my primary email address is the same and it's showing me the last year status and no option to create a new app.

Can anyone help Please?

I have to apply before 31st and can i repeat some of the content of the last year's essays or they should be entirely new. I am halfway through my essays.

Regards,

I didn't see any provision to upload the photograph on the online application portal. Once I submitted the application, I got an email where I was asked for it, which I emailed to them.

For the documents, I don't think the hard copies are required at the application stage.

Hello Everyone!

I am almost done with my application but while submitting, I was prompted to add the 'Foreign Identification Number' in Personal Particulars section. Could anyone please tell me what should be put there?

Hi all, while I'm filling the Education details section in the application, I'm unable to add my school qualifications - higher secondary and secondary. There is option to only add diploma, professional degree or graduate degree. Please let me know if we need not enter higher secondary school qualifications or if I'm trying this the wrong way. Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

I submitted my application on December 14th. However, it has been 1.months and I haven't heard back from the university on anything. Is this normal? How much more time should I expect them to take?

Thanks,
Tushar

Rahul:

Congrats again! For the scholarship: one, did you explicitly discuss/mention it in the App/interviews. Additionally, would you be comfortable to share the range of your scholarship offer?

Thank you, I have sent you a PM w.r.t the amount.
No mention of scholarship either by the interviewers during the admission process or me. Also, unlike NTU's form, there was no scholarship related essay in NUS's.

However, during the "why MBA now?" question, I did mention that financially it was viable for me to go for an MBA and take on the burden of a student loan now.

Hope this helps!
BR,
Rahul
