Hi gdyste, I am a similar non-interview applicant like you(albeit from India/submitted R1), and I had the exact same concern while deciding on Tuck. Fortunately, I got to talk to a tuck AdCom member during an event, and asked him about it. What I concluded from the discussion was, whereas tuck prefers you to have an on-campus applicant initiated interview, if your profile is strong enough to get an interview, all interviews are treated equivalent. Hence, not having an applicant initiated interview isn't much of a disadvantage, as they are not going to ding you 'just' for not scheduling the interview.
So my advice to you would be the same, if you think you have a competitive profile ignoring the interview bit, definitely apply. Tuck is a great place to be in.

Thanks for your response! Are you a current Tuck student? It looks like you are in India, so you have a good excuse to not visit the campus. I hope they don't consider me lazy for opting out from California.
While I don't think my profile is super competitive, I am coming from an underrepresented group (female, non-finance, lots of international experience / extracurriculars) which may give me a leg up. Additionally, I've been getting marketing emails from Tuck almost every day and even some large packets in the mail, which is pretty motivating!

For high demographic applicant such as Indian Male Engineer, which would be the better round to apply to Tuck: November or January and why?
