shaunak075, dude, i ain’t worked up. All i said was to express my opinion related to the guaranteed interview concept. I understand your feedback about SE/Asian prospective applicants. For clarity dude, you never crossed at line.
Please be kind. We all understand that anxiety of waiting for an interview. I submitted on 9/27 and received an interview but during the waiting I still wonder if I made the right choice of not rushing to submitted on 9/1.

I think we should have applied in the guaranteed interview invitation round...
That way we could have fair shot...bt now it seems the chances are gloomy for us indians...dont you feel??

Oh! come off it. I submitted my application early which ultimately guaranteed me an interview. Guess what? I wasn’t guaranteed an interview because I obtained an app fee waiver. I didn’t fret because I knew my app was solid. Eventually, I was invited to interview.
Please be kind. I submitted on 9/27 and received an interview four days later. But even during the very short waiting I still felt anxiety and even self-doubt about whether I made the right choice of not rushing to submit on 9/1 for a guaranteed interview. For folks who waited this long for an interview I feel your pain.

And just because you feel your app is "solid" still doesn’t mean you’ll get invited to interview. I have a friend who is now a first-year at Wharton and she was rejected by Tuck without an interview.

Just to clarify what someone said earlier: If you have an application fee waiver, you’re not guaranteed an interview even if you submit early? Could someone cite the source for this?

Tuck provides application fee waiver to students but those are then not considered for guaranteed interview even if they submit early. That’s what they tell you if you mail them asking for application fee waiver

People who gave a 2nd interview for Tuck:

What was discussed?

What do you think was the reason the reason you got invited for another interview?

Is there any Indian who received any response on their application? I submitted my application on Sept 27 and haven't received any communication till now.

Should I expect anything now or otherwise?

Hey everyone, anyone has an idea on how many Indians get admitted in R1 in general? There is a massive increase in number of Indians that got an interview invite this time around, 15-16 every year to 28 this year and counting! And that too with much higher average GMAT score, Just checking to see if anyone has any insights on conversion rate specifically for Indians..
