Received the call right before 9 am this morning from one of the admissions directors (who was not my interviewer); she said "scholarship decision" would be released at noon. Congratulations to all admits so far!

Edit: Got a half scholarship!!! Now comes the really tough decision

Thanks Hiren.

While I get into many schools, I don't receive as many scholarship as I wished. As an international student, it is pretty important to me. So I'm crossing my finger and hoping Darden can be the one :)

They will send out the info in a few hours.

Leaning towards Duke. Still waiting to hear from Georgetown, but the only thing stopping me from paying the deposit at Duke is my significant other has a great paying job in DC, so we'd have to do long-distance for the 2 years. I promised her I'd wait to hear back from Georgetown before any decisions were made.

I agree. I've similar scenario, but we are in Canada and I am coming to the US anyway. But then, there will be a time when the issue will pop up.
There is no job post MBA in the USA that can justify she giving up her really good job.
Such a difficult situation, eh?

Congrats to all admits again! Here is R2 admission summary based on stats submitted on Decision Tracker.
  • Avg GMAT score and GMAT range of admits is 725 (670 - 760) whereas that of overall R2 application pool is 714 (580 - 770).
  • Two applicants - one from France and other from Mexico - admitted with lowest GMAT scores of 670 and 680 respectively.
  • 16 of 112 applicants have been admitted in R2, with acceptance rate of 14%.
  • Among 16 admits, 10 are from US, 2 Vietnam, 1 from Nigeria, Italy, France, and Mexico each.
