Even I'm a R1 applicant.

BNabs88 Regarding your GMAT score query. The admissions team told me that the GMAT score takes 3-4 days after you submit your application to show as received, irrespective of when you had sent it to the school.

I am a bit confused about having to upload the PDF copy of my transcript. I have an official hard copy with me and I uploaded a scanned PDF copy while applying. But the GIAC page shows my transcript PDF as pending. Am I supposed to ask my undergraduate institute for some official PDF copy that I then need to upload?

AniketST I believe you just upload your scanned copy of your official transcript again, the first time you did it was for McCombs system, the second time is for the University of Texas system, they are separated for some reason.

And the admissions team confirmed my application fee waiver was valid and will be applied, still don't know why but I'm not complaining!

BNabs88 Thanks for clearing that transcript doubt. I guess I'll do what you said.

And lucky you to get that fee waiver!

Just means that you interview at a hub city with a member of the admissions committee.

Depends on the university you attended during Undergrad. If English was the sole language of instruction, then you don't need to take the TOEFL.
There should be a line on each page of your transcript (generally on the reverse) which states the language of instruction.
Most major colleges in India teach in English, so I doubt that you'll face any problems without your TOEFL.

Hope this helps.

It means that you'll interview in-person with an Admissions Committee member who will be travelling to the Hub cities on specific dates.
These are the people who'll be travelling from McCombs this year: http://blogs.mccombs.utexas.edu/mba-ins ... ions-team/

Hi Guys, I am thinking about contacting recent admits /current students to hold a chat session with prospective applicants to discuss application related issues. Want to know what you all think about this plan.

Hey Narenn, Wanted to know if this event happened? If Yes, do we have a record of it somewhere?

Sorry for the late update but this chat did not happen as we never got confirmation from any of the students with whom we were planning to conduct this chat session. If anyone knows any current student who is wiling to conduct a chat, I am ready to provide all the help to organize this chat session in our chat room.
