When I spoke with admissions, I was told that they interview up to March 15. I don't know if that means they send out invites until then, or if that is the last day you can interview. I hope its the former and you hear something in the next couple days!

I just realized if you login to GIAC MyStatus Page, and click on Housing tab, it says "You may now apply for on-campus housing." Though it feels like a positive sign, but I am not sure if that was the housing status since beginning.

Could some of you please check your housing status and see whats there?

It looks like they open the housing application as soon as an application is completed (rather than upon admission like many other universities) due to the demand for on-campus housing, according to what I could find from digging around the internet. I wouldn't get your hopes up that it's a sign of any particular outcome.

Alright, I have a question, even though it may be too late. To put it nicely, the rest of my applications have not worked out and this is the last school I'm waiting to hear from. I already had McCombs ranked highly on my list and I indicated that in my interview and application but I was always a little worried that they'd see the # of UK schools on my list and assume I wouldn't be interested enough in them because of this. Is it worth it, at this stage in the game, to email them and indicate that I would attend if accepted, or is it simply too late/desperate sounding?

I was in exact same boat last year. Applied to several schools including mccombs and was waitlisted through June before being dinged. I'm going to be honest...sending anything now isn't going to change their decision. However, if waitlisted they'll allow you to send an optional letter of interest and additional professional/leadership updates that have occurred between being waitlisted and whenever they decide take you off (ding or admit). Take full advantage of that and do it early.
