Checked the portal and saw that I have been waitlisted. Seeing a lot of other waitlisted updates on clearadmit as well.
Not sure if that's a positive or a negative sign. Can anyone shed some light on the waitlisted process and if it's different for international candidates? Considering their constraint of visa timelines, will they be notified earlier?
And do international students and USA residents compete for the same spot or does the admission depends on country/region specific students not opting to confirm their admission offer?
