Waitlisted as well.

I am planning to send a letter from office highlighting my bonus and raise due to my work performance, and sending a letter of interest by tomorrow. I have a deposit deadline coming up by mid of next week, which I cant let go.

Does any one have any idea what should be the content of the letter, and who should be signing this letter from work? My direct supervisor already submitted a reco during application so I don't think he should be signing this one.

Thanks,

It seems everyone has an update weather its an Admit, Ding, or WL except for me. Is there anyone else out there who has yet to hear anything whatsoever?

How is everyone's waitlist strategy going? I have been admitted into Marshall but with no scholarship. So will need to take a full loan.

After talking to current students, I am seriously considering it. I know it has been climbing up in rankings plus the trojan community is very strong. I am planning on getting into consulting after graduation. Anyone has some advice on the realistic chances of getting into a top consulting firm after Marshall and if the school is worth such a risk? I know there can never be a guarantee and it all depends on how proactive you are during your MBA. But still, any opinion/advice will be welcome in terms of what you think.

I don’t know much about consulting recruiting at Marshall, but would think it presents similar opportunities as Mccombs since they are very close in rankings. I know that MBB doesn’t necessarily recruit heavily at McCombs. Seems most students doing Consulting are going to firms like DT, Accenture, etc with just a few going MBB.

It's the same there right now I think. Deloitte, EY are the main ones with a few going to BCG. But are the likes of Deloitte really far off from the top 3 in the States in terms of compensation/exposure/growth?

And can one climb up the ladder by starting outside the top 3 or it kind of limits them to companies outside of the top 3?

Not sure how common it is to go from a second tier to Top 3–I would guess possible not a common path. I actually work in big 4 but on the accounting side. Looking to make the switch to big 4 consulting or comparable post mba. Personally I don’t mind the step down from the Top 3. The second tier firms are well respected and offer good salary, fast career progression, etc.

I applied on 2nd April in the round 3 of admissions, its been 12 days now but i haven't received an interview invite.
Is this an indication that its unlikely i'm going to receive an interview invite at all?
What is the typical timeline within which students start receiving invites from the date of submission?

Hi everyone,

Any round 3 applicants? Thoughts on the interview? Waiting on that decision date is stressing me out.
