I'm planning to give GMAT exam on 15th December.
The books I am using for preparation are Manhattan GMAT 8 Strategy Guides (4th Edition), OG12, OG16, GMAT quantitative review (2nd Edition) and GMAT verbal review (2nd Edition).
Is there too much contrast between new and old edition books (asking for verbal and quant part)?
Second question, Which book should I use for IR?

Hi viaduct,
From a 'content' standpoint, the GMAT has been a remarkably consistent Exam over the years, so you would be fine using any of those books (although you might come across a few rare questions in the OG12 that would not see on the current version of the GMAT. That having been said, your immediate study plan is 'book heavy'; unfortunately, many Test Takers who study in that way end up getting 'stuck' at a particular score level. Even the best books are limited in what they can teach you; they also can't force you to approach questions in a certain way and their explanations are often one-sided. This is all meant to say that you will likely need to invest in some additional, non-book study materials at some point.
Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
3) What is your overall goal score?
4) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Studies:
1) I have been studying for 18 days for atleast 4 hours and on weekend 6-7hrs.
2) I took two GMATofficalprep. One on 15th Sept and another on 5th Oct,scored 440(Q32,V18) and 420(Q36,V15) respectively.
Goals:
3)650+
4)Planning to take on 15th December.
5)I will be applying for Colleges from November.
6)I am planning to apply for S.P Jain, IMT and Great lakes. I'm going to apply for more colleges depending on my official GMAT score.
